The main results on the Saturday afternoon was Bellyboy who averaged 80 getting raped 6 zip by the cabbage Heta. Rob Cross played well but was brushed aside by Smudger averaging 112. Chizzy actually won a game with a mere 90 average, Noppert went out to Gurney, Ando out to Woodhouse and Wattimena seemed to have an issue and sulked off after losing to Bunting. Delighted to see Clayton dump out the match fixing cunt. Edhouse averaging 104 was 4-2 up on Stutters and his game fell off a cliff with each throw but fell over the line in a last leg decider.
Wade with checkouts of 118 & 140 gave him a 2-0 lead on Barney, and led 4-1 in but his scoring and doubles were atrocious and even missed a match dart for 6-3 averaging just 86, Barney broke, but Wade won with an 88 average and the win also moved him above Aspinall in the rankings to #11. Matt Campbell who dumped out Jock Menzies took on the Peter Wright and sent him packing too. Wright only won 2 legs, one which was a 160 checkout.
Van Veen averaged over 105 and was lucky to win 2 legs as Price was superb and averaged 112.42. It was Price's 7th consecutive win over Van Veen. Babs then took on Schindler, The Wall won 6-3 and should have been more, Babs 88 average wont cut it these days, and like Bellyboy he was still not in the Matchplay qualification spots. Luke Major took on De Decker, 2 players that are not performing like they did in 2024, Humphries was averaging a mere 88 and was 4-3 up.De Decker broke for 5-4 and threw for the win, which he deserved, and the home crowd lapped it up.As for Humphries who defends a huge amount of money in 2025, each defeat means Littler is closing the gap and more likely to overtake even before the world championships. Littler then took on the scruffy window cleaner, and sure enough Searle who had chancs choked and littler breezed through. Huchback took on Boris Krcmar, Boris had chances and despite 8 missed doubles he held for 3-3. Boris then broke and held for 5-3 but missed 4 match darts for 6-3, but had the throw for 6-4 and missed 2 more match darts before finally wrapping it up. I would not miss the rubber lipped hunchback cunt,who still believes people fear him. Last up was Dobey against Dirk which went all 11 legs. Dirk scored better but both players doubling was abysmal. Dobey missed 14 darts at double including 2 match darts, Dirk missed 19, but took the win. 5 of the 8 Premier League players were out before Sunday.
SUNDAY
De Decker beat Schindler, and Price beat Heta, both winners averaged well over a 100 average but did not see the games.Smudger and Campbell was a ok watch, the slow pace did not help. Campbell averaged a ton and lost 6-4. Bunting was th next player to average over a ton as he dumped out Gurney and strengthened his position as world #6.
Littler broke early against Woodhouse but Woodhouse broke back and at 4-4 with Woodhouse throwing for 5-4, the nerves kicked in, he chucked shit and out he went as Littler averaged over a ton. Edhouse had darts to win 10 of the 11 legs played against Chizzy and lost 6-5. Chizzy just did enough to get through.
Wade took on Krcmar and Wade played like he had a flight booked for Sunday evening as he averaged 88 after 5 legs. Somehow Wade broke for 5-4 and threw for the match and Boris blew multiple chances and Wade fell over the line in a truly awful game.Last up was Dirk who started great against Clayton breaking early and throwing for a 4-1 lead. Clayton broke back held and the breaks kept coming as Clayton broke for 5-4, and Dirk broke back and Clayton broke in a last leg decider for the win after Dirk missed 3 match darts, a great watch. A decent session but Wade and Chizzy were awful and won with averages that were far below what others went out with, they would need to up their game.
QUARTERS
I wanted Price to beat De Decker but De Decker played superb, and the crowd was lapping this up, a great watch, and Price gifted him chances and took them.
Next up was Smudger and Bunting and the crowd went to sleep, cannot blame them, a slow cunt taking on an obese fucker. After 5 legs both were averaging in the 80s, and I soon got bored and fucked off for a cup of tea and when I got back it was no better with Bunting 5-4 up.Smudger held and broke for the win, The guy that a day earlier set the record for the highest average in this comp won with an average in the 80s against a guy that was put in the Premier League.
Then we got Kebab guzzler and Chizzy who have a combined IQ lower than the average of smudgers last game. I went for a shit, and felt that would be more pleasurable, and when I got back Chizzy was 4-3 up and had the throw, and then it was Chizzy's turn to shit himself, live on the oche and lost the next 3 legs, 2 of which he had the throw.
Last QF was Wade and Clayton. Wades 88 comp average was not going to cut it. Clayton averaging mid 80s broke in leg one, another Wade game that started atrocious, Wade broke back averaging 74. This was grim and Wade went 2-1 up averaging 73, clayton was no better. Its like neither player wanted to win and face the obese kebab guzzler. Clayton started to wake up and made it 3-3, Wade then took out 204 in 4 darts to go ahead, and 103 in the next to go 5-3 up. Clayton broke, and Wade missed 2 match darts, and clayton fucked up and Wade won 6-4 with a 90 average, his highest average for the entire weekend. Littler was going to rape him.
De Decker might have played well previously,would have the crowd on his side but I thought Littler would run amok in the final. I wanted De Decker to win but once Littler went 3-1 up with the Chinese looking Belgian averaging in the 80s I fucked off and joined the wife to finish off watching the new tv series the Count of Monte Cristo.

Yes that series of events created for one gender in a code that is supposed to be gender neutral took place at the weekend. No I did not watch it, would anyone when the Euro tour was on ? Maybe it was not streamed I didn't know nor cared.

Last 128: Littler was 3-0 down to Springer and came back to win 6-5 in a gme where both averaged around 105, Humphries, Clayton, Van Veen, Heta,Cullen, Bellyboy, Smudger, De Decker, Wade and MvG won easily enough. Out went Price, Cross, Noppert, Gurney, Babs, Barney, Wattimena, Joyce and Wright. Ando hit a 9 darter in his win over Joyce.
Last 64: Wade beat Greaves with a 115 average, also through were Humphries, Littler, Cullen , Ando, Smudger. Heta, and MvG. Out went Chizzy, Bellyboy, Bunting, Dobey, Rydz, Schindler, Menzies, Rock and the match fixing cunt. Littler hit a 9 dater in his win.
Last 32: Cullen beat Humphries who averaged only 88, MvG, Littler, Ando, Heta and Wade progressed, out went Smudger, Dirk, Clayton and Searle.
Last 16: Wade averaging 105 and 5-2 up lost to Doets,There were wins for Heta, MvG, Littler, Cullen, Van Veen, De Decker, and Rob Owen beat Ando.
Last 8: Littler with an average of 122.96 beat Heta with legs of 12, 12, 11, 13, 13, 11, Van Veen averaging 108.16 beat MvG, Cullen averaging 90 beat doets, and De Decker beat Rob Owen averaging 92.
Semi Finals: Van Veen had his chances and missed the bull for a 170 and the win, but returned missed 2 more match darts and it was 6-6, Littlers third last leg decider of the day, but Van Veen took out 121 on the bull to win it. Cullen averaging 100 beat De Decker 7-5.
Final: Cullen won a close great final 8-7, coming from 7-4 down, Van Veen fucked it away, after missing 5 title darts. Cullen moved up a spot to #22 in the rankings, Van Veen remained at #25

Last 128: First through was Cullen, others through were Humphries, Price, Wade, Ando,MvG, Dobey, Heta, Smudger, Stutters, Cross and Van Veen. Soutar hit a 9 darter to break Littler and with 86 for the match blew it and lost.
Out went MvG, Rydz, Edhouse, the match fixing cunt and Littler averaging almost 105 losing to Dom Taylor
Last 32: Wade beat Stutters, Smudger dumped Cullen, Heta beat Barney, also through were Humphries, Price, Cross, Ando and Bunting. Dirk went out averaging almost 105
Last 16: Humphries beat Magpie who is playing well lately, Price lost to Bunting, Wade beat Joyce, Cross and Ando went out to Doets and Madars, Heta beat Bialecki, Smudger and Van Veen made up the last 8.
Last 8:First into the semis was Van Veen, after 5 legs Wade was averaging 106, but when Van Veen broke wade's game fell off a cliff and Wade was running out of the venue. Smudger beat Doets in a poor game. Humphries came from 5-3 down to beat Heta, and Madars beat Bunting 6-4
Semis: Smudger took on Humpries and Madars took on Van Veen. As expected Van Veen brushed Madas aside with ease 7-1 averaging 103. Smudger put up a bit better of a fight, taking out 160 in the 10th leg but multiple missed doubles for 6-5 cost him and lost to Humphries who averaged 107.39, and was over 110 until the last leg.
Final: It started slow and Van veen was lucky to be 2-1 up but when Van een went 5-2 up, then 6-3 it was as good as over or would Van Veen buckle with Humphries needing 2 breaks. When Humphries missed doubles to hold and Van Veen broke for 7-3 and had the throw it was over.Van Veen won with a 97 average.You could not begrudge the lad picking up his first senior title, He beat Littler and MvG the day previous and blew the final but beat the World #1 in this final. He was the highest ranked player in the PDC without a title prior. His win put his up a place to world #24 above Gurney.
The roadshow continued this week and I did not watch it, I did not even seek out the highlights, I had enough ranking darts from the players champs, so non ranking shit does not matter
As a kid I grew up watching the iconic players of darts, and for me Bristow was the greatest player ever. I know we live in an age where every kid thinks they are an expert on darts because they google stats or averages, and interpret stats to suit whatever agenda. Eric Bristow was the biggest superstar darts ever had, this before social media existed, before people had mobile phones, he was a tv star and household name. After the Bristow era came the Phil Taylor era, which started a couple of years before the PDC came into existence in the BDO pre split and under the WDC name, and Taylor, like him or not, was the face of the PDC and the most successful player in the history of the game. Then you started getting people new to darts thinking Taylor was the first superstar because they never saw Bristow, it is a recency bias thing, that would repeat itself over and over,
Years later it was the turn of the MvG era, and sure enough even the newer viewers who had no idea of Taylor, or never witnessed his dominance, let alone Bristow's era would actually claim MvG was the greatest player ever, because they were conditioned to believe what they were told by comms, who are just as ignorant as them, and never questioned anything. Fans incapable of any independent thought were brainwashed in to believing the rubber lipped bald fat cunt with just 3 world titles was better than Taylor and Bristow who won more, and when questioned could only offer stats they got off google as some sort of argument ignoring the boards, the thicker wires, fatter darts etc.
Now we got the era of the Lukes. The same people who cited MvG as the greatest of all time will soon switch allegiances and proclaim Littler or Humphries as the best, as soon as one of the Lukes overtakes MvG's haul of 3 World titles,which I believe at least one of the Lukes will do, if not both proving how fickle fans are and think everything new is always better than what came before
Those old cunts like me who watched Bristow in his prime, as well as prime Taylor, prime MvG, and are still watching will understand my point, those who do not get it, will never get it

And people would have you believe he was better than Taylor.....This year alone in ranking money he has earned £19.5k That does not put him even in the top 25, Wade for example has earned 84k for the year to date, only both Luke's and Clayton earned more.

Jose De sousa once hit an average over 123 in a ranking event, does not make his one of the greats. Trophies are more important than averages. And if averages are that important, then Taylor has not only the highest ever competition average in a ranking tv event, but has the top 2, so keep your high single pl average.
When I say Wade was one of the greats I am told he is not because he never won a world Title, then if world titles are the barometer, then MvG's haul of 3 cannot compete with Bristow let alone Taylor.
If you are one of the clowns that believe the Lakeshite Cup was a "world title, then you could argue Barney was better. Which is it, Are world titles the sole criteria, or do averages mean more than actual ranking titles ?
I am not denying prime MvG was an incredible player, but prime Taylor was better, and for far longer, in 5 years time Littler's haul might be better than MvG, and the same people who cite MvG as better than Taylor will start claiming Littler is the best. And lastly if Bristow Taylor and MVG were all in their prime at the same time, MvG's enormous head would explode as both Bristow and Taylor to a lesser degree would live rent free in his head. They would own him before a dart was thrown, Taylor past his prime was able to beat prime MvG.
