It seem lately its a battle between Bellyboy and Babs who can perform the worst, both still out of matchplay spots and jobbing consistently on the floor. PDC PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIPS #7 & #8
These being held in Germany meant a lot of top players giving these a skip, Those absent included Humphries, Littler, Price, Clayton, Bunting, Cross, Dobey, Wade and Aspinall. In fact 7 of the 8 Premier League players would give these a skip only hunchback MvG would enter, so surely he would win both these depleted fields ? The PL players might have some excuse but Clayton and Wade missing these is just sheer laziness.
Wade for example, not only recently overtook Wright, Aspinall, & Noppert in the rankings, he should be using these depleted field to extend his lead, and give him more breathing space in the rankings. Clayton is just 250 quid behind Bunting, and just 10.25k away from being the World #4, an amount of money he could have easily made in Germany over 2 days. It seems crazy Wade and Clayton dont make hay while the sun shines in depleted fields.
EVENT #7
My interest in this was minimal, after hauling myself out of the bed, mug of tea and walking the dogs , by the time I got home it was almost over.
Last 128: Cullen and Chizzy traveled all the way to job first round and went out and yet again Babs went out first round playing shit, Noppert losr to Burton who averaged 85, whilst Barneys 104 average did not stop him going out, but laughed when I saw MvG the highest ranked player could not even win a first round match, was like it only added to everything I have said about this delusional fat fuck and too add bonus the match fixing cunt Nijman did not earn a penny either. Wonderful. And in the first game Searle hit a 9 darter.
Last 64: Bellyboy's 73 average did not cut it...imagine that, also out were Smudger, Searle, Pikachu, Schindler, Menzies, Pikachu and Lukeman, the seeds were dropping like flies.Dirk got a 9 darter, the second one of the day.
Last 32: Another 4 seeds went in Van Veen, Heta, Fattimena and woodlouse.
Lat 16: Only seed to lose was gurney who lost to Ratajski. Lipscombe and Magpie were the only 2 non seeds to win.Magpie hit the third 9 darter of the day.
Last 8: Magpie lost to Lipscombe, Ando beat Ratajski, De Decker beat Krusty and Dirk beat Doets in an all Dutch affair.
Semis :Lipscombe fans at the UK Open were a bunch of annoying rabble cunts, but in this empty hall I had no issue with the player.Lipscombe went 4-1 averaging 107, but this was not modus and first to 4. Lipscombe's average dropped by 164 points and still fell over the line as Dirk was shit. In the other semi Ando dumped out De Decker 7-3
Final : Ando was the clear favourite, but this was a piss poor final with both averaging 84 after 4 legs. After 7 legs the averages had climbed to the 90s. Ando woke up and despite poor doubling rang amok thanks to his scoring.
Credit to Lipscombe taking advantage of a depleted field, moving up 11 places to world #91, was always gonna be jobber heavy in the late rounds.
As happened already this year in these events, MvG after suffering a first round loss gets the hump ( excuse the pun) and gave event 8 a skip.
EVENT #8
Lasr 164: Babs went out yet again averaging in the 70s and so did Bellyboy but at least he played better. Wonderful to see the Match fixer Nijman not make a penny this week as he went out. Peter Wright went out to Bialecki averaging in the mod 80s. The bigger seeds of Cullen, Ratajski and Fattimena also went.Wenig hit a 9 darter in his loss and averaged over 103.
Last 64: The big casualties were the previous days winner Ando, along with Chizzy, Van Veen, De Decker. Joyce Dirk and Gurney,
Last 32:Seeds were sinking like stones as Rock, Heta, Smudger, Noppert, Edhouse, Clemens and Gilding exited
Last 16:Searle, Schindler and Barney were the only 3 players left that were in the worlds top #40. Jobbertastic. Out went Barney to Zonneveld.
Last 8: Searle never dropped below the 105 average but still lost a last leg decider to Dom Taylor. Schindler won a last leg decider, De Graaf beat Slevin and Geeraets beat Zonneld.
Semis: The world #64 would play #67. The world #23 would play a guy that was ranked #82 that morning.De Graaf was lethal on the doubles and Dom Taylor who averaged and scored better was out. Schindler was utter shit but Geeraets missed match darts for 7-3 and Schindler, broke and held and broke again to throw in a last leg decider as Geeraets collapsed.
Final: Schindler was World #23 took on De Graaf who at the start of play was the world #64. De Graafs jammy run and luck was soon over as Schindler averaging just 85 was 5-0 up and cruising against De Graaf averaging 74. It was grim as fuck, it was like watching Modus when you are bored.
Schindler was now up a place above Cullen in the world rankings to #22. De Graaf was up 5 places to #59
EUROPEAN TOUR
Thankfully unlike he player champs, here was only 2 players giving this a skip, Littler and Bunting, and that suited me as I prefer Joyce who replaced Bunting, and an event without the rimming of Littler would be a welcome event.
Sadly we only got to the first leg of the first match before the discussion was about Kebab Guzzler. I have often mentioned how i was no fan of the changes in the qualifying which favours the top players, burt the flip side s the opening day of the euro tour does generate better fixtures for the fans, with games like Joyce and Cullen, even if Cullen was abysmal. Performance of the day for me was Menzies over Soutar, I won't miss Barney, Sadly the match fixing cunt won. I was happy to see big Boris continue his good form in the euros. Smudger, Schindler and Searle did as expected, and credit to Spinger who is showing some good form, roll on tomorrow, proper ranking darts
THE GLORIFIED NON RANKING EXBO
Now to the glorified repetitive non ranking shit, again did not watch it, saw the highlight and Littlers 9 darter, credit to the lad, but th whole event is just tiresome for me, and if you enjoy it, good for you, hapy for you even, buts its boring for me, and when the play off happens it might be worth tuning in for, and even then its just like polishing a turd.

Last week it came out how Merv was a tax cheat, owing around half a million if the figures reported are correct, and because I truly despise Wessel Nijman people automatically assumed I would therefore despise Merv. I don't and here is why and the difference. Nijman was a corrupt cunt who fucked over the ordinary punter, and showed a total disregard for the game, Merv did not disrespect the game, he only fucked over the government. Yes you can believe he is a total liar in his bullshit he did not know he had to pay taxes, no one is buying that shit and if he thinks people will buy that nonsense then he is a prick , that said I have no problem with anyone fucking over the government, or the tax cunts. You go to school, study hard, to get a god job then wort hard, only for those bastards to take your money and then spend it on immigrants, house them give them preferential treatment etc.....fuck the government. We live in a society where if a billionaire owes the government millions, they take him to dinner, you or I if we owed a thousand quid they take us to court. So fair play to Merv for catching them.
