KNOB OF THE WEEK.

It was a quiet week in darts, but the award goes to Rob Cross who won the European Championships in late October 2021, and was subsequently not picked just over 2 months later for the 2022 Premier League, becoming what was then only the second player ever to win what the PDC call a "Premier Event" and not be selected for the PL. He was obviously upset, and rightly so as the PDC declared he missed out due to the PDC reducing the number of players to 8 for what would be the first year of the knockout format currently being used.
Then when he missed out this year, he bemoaned the selections, and came out with the comment that had he won a comp he would have turned it down. At the time I applauded his comments, even if it came across as sulking. He did reach the Masters finals just prior to selection which was won by Dobey who got in to the Premier League on the back of that. Had Cross won that Masters instead of Dobey do people still think he would have turned down the chance if he was asked to play ? His comments came across as sulking and sour grapes and I could understand that if he genuinely had principles, real ones not those like the made up imaginary ones that others players in the past claimed to have like that parasitic cunt Spineless Adams

This week he claimed in an interview he would love to play in it again, so much for all his previous comments. What happens if he gets left out again in 2024, will he trot out the same excuses again pretending to not care ?

Personally I believe he should have been picked in 2022 after winning a Premier Event and a ranking one at that, and despite him not winning a Premier Event last year, and as bland as he might be, he was certainly more deserving than Barbara the Twink and Stutters Aspinall. Then Ross Smith was also more deserving, and like Cross in 2021 he too won a European Championship only a couple of months before the selection process, and a ranking one at that, yet Dobey got in winning a non ranking event.

Cross is one of a few PDC players with a great CV who do not seem to be in Twat Porter's litle clique, Twat Porter would rather select Stutters Aspinall where they week after week tell us how he is "a fighter" even after he recorded the lowest PL average ever, or tell us over and over how he once had only 20quid to his name, as if this magical fairytale they would have you believe it to be will somehow make his inclusion all the more worthy. Likewise with the dancing and mincing twink Babara van den Bergh, as if his queer and pathetic shuffling around on a stage which he thinks is dancing is some sort of attraction for the fans, cos it tickles the taint of twat porter. Babs only Premier Event ever was the Matchplay that was in in an empty room 3 fucking years ago, but a player that has won 4 Premier Events including a World Championships, where along the way he beat Bellyboy, Dimitri, MvG and Taylor in winning the title is somehow less worthy.
If Cross is gonna sulk and bemoan the selection process for 2 years and now is reversing quicker than an Italian tank sucking up that makes him a  knob. Stand by your previous convictions or look a prat. If they pick him they pick if not he can go back to complaining but begging only serves to make him look desperate and sad. Perhaps if he had a gimmick, you know, like dressing like a clown, or a faggoty dance routine, something absolutely retarded I am sure Twat Porter would be all over him like flies on shit. Being a great player is now secondary for a invitational comp they hype as a major.

Even by Modus standards, this was one of the worst weeks ever standard wise, and what normal person would ever listen to Hippo Barrs, let alone look at his gigantic obese carcass, so watched then later mostly on fast forward and Thibault Tricole who had started as the bookies favorites was utter dog shit with at least half a dozen averages in the 70s, and in another game averaged 66.52 and that was without even a shot at the double. He failed to get out of group A and failed to get out of group C the lowest of the low groups. That said as deplorable as it was this week at least with their new rule of automatic entries for ADC and ADC Europe players it might help stop Modus from inviting their regular favorites back over and over, and the upside side of Duff winning a week where it was arranged he played utter dross, at least we don't have to see him for another 8 weeks.

PDC DEVELOPMENT TOUR.
Event 11 today was won by Bradley Brooks, and here is where I have an issue. He finished 70th last year in the main Order of Merit, therefore losing his tour card but because he had finished 1st in the development tour he gets a new card. Those already with a tour card should not be allowed to play in the development tour they already have a tour to play on without double dipping, as a back up in case they fail on the main. If he loses his tour card he should only then be allowed play the development tour. Then in event 12 later in the day the final was Dylan Slevin, another player with a tour card, who should not be allowed enter, and Slevin had beat yet another tour card holder in Gian van Veen in the semis, Slevin lost in the final against Wessel Nijman who should never have been allowed back in to the PDC after his match fixing.

How is it fair to the other kids where full tour card holders who already have their own tour to play on and match fixing cunts are allowed enter ?
