KNOB OF THE WEEK
When the BDO thankfully died, and the WDF took over, and the PDC permitted the 7 WDF players that won tour cards to play in the WDF pretend World Championships which five accepted, a normal rational person might have thought for a brief moment the inbred backward tribal mentality of "us" and "them" which consumed the bitter cunts in the BDO might have eventually ended, but alas no.
After Neil Duff won the clusterfuck at Bobs rundown hotel he did an interview when he took pleasure in the failure of the tour card holders that attended. He went on to say how the others played the tour for the year etc to get to that event.... so did the 5 tourcard holders, who had already qualified for the event before they won their tourcards at Q-school. In fact had those players not have won a tour card they would have been in the event anyway, but I am sure this went over his fucking head. He then tried to back track. He claimed he was not trying to be political when it was obviously he was being exactly that. Even before the final was played I saw on forums that he was really disliked by multiple people, and I doubt his post match interview only cemented their opinion of him.
It seems to me that the WDF and PDC want to move beyond those backward notions of "us" and "them" but seems duff would rather continue that mentality. If you really feel that way, then stay in the WDF, but then the same guy who has an issue with PDC tour card holders in a WDF event then starts begging to be in a PDC event. Does anyone see the double standards here ?

As I said last week can anyone seriously say " Neil Duff World champion and not laugh ?. It should be amateur world champion, cos anyone that believes this is on some sort of par with the proper PDC world champion is seriously deluded and in need of treatment.
If this clusterfuck was rightly advertised on Quest, Eurosport etc as the Amateur World Championships, and the trophy advertised as such, and the winner advertised as amateur World championship, then maybe the mocking it got all across social media and forums, would not have been so critical. I knew it is an amateur event, anyone that follows the game knows this, so why not advertise it as such. Its nothing to be ashamed of, it is after all amateur, but acting like it is some real world championships and not an amateur one is trying to bullshit people who know the truth. Is it any wonder I and many countless others ripped in to it.
As for the WDF, putting aside the atrocious ticket sales, and how they seem to have trouble understanding what exactly they are, when one day the WDF chief development officer cites its a continuation of past events, ie, when calling Wayne Warren the reigning champion whilst also saying it has nothing to do with the bdo and the o2 fiasco...where Wayne won the fucking thing to begin with. They dont seem to have a clue of what they are. Also putting aside the absolutely torture that was the commentary, as well as the bleak averages, I will give them some credit in that they paid out what they said they would. I did snigger when I saw the averages the following day to see the munters amateur title was won with an higher average than the men's. I did not watch the session, but I bet the comms who were wetting themselves all week over Veenstras average, were not rimming the sub 89 averages in that final.
THE MUNTERS WORLD CHAMPIONSIPS & WORLD SERIES OF DARTS
I will concede that the WDF Munters World Championships is a bona fide World Championships, because it is the only one in existence for munters, even if the WDF cunts wrongly kicked out Anastasia Dobromyslova who deservedly earned her place, based on a political decision despite the WDF claiming to be non political, It is the sole World championships for them, so on that basis that event has just cause to label itself as a World Championships, as the PDC would be contradicting themselves if they created a munters World Championship, because the PDC have officially stated they are Unisex. So how can they have a munters only comp in a code that is Unisex. This logic seems lost on the PDC. As I said before the PDC dont give a fuck about munter darts, they only cared about Pinocchio, not because they care for her even, but the publicity they can milk out of it.

This week the PDC announced Pinocchio for all six world Series events but leaving Clayton the world #8 the player that won FOUR tv titles last year, and the current holder of 3 titles out of most events. That has to be a kick in the bollix to him.
Am I surprised the PDC would put her in ? No, they dont give a fuck about things like loyalty, or rewarding players like Clayton for what he did last year, its all about them trying to appear politically correct whilst using Pinocchio for the hype and publicity.
Now you can argue it is a business decision, and it is non ranking, all valid points, and even allowing for those arguments, is Bellyboy who has won nothing of note ever, more deserving of 6 invites in the world series over Clayton ? I think not.
Lets not forget Clayton is the current and reigning World Series of darts champion, and he is overlooked for Bellyboy ? How is that fair ?
How is leaving out the reigning champion out of most events for a player that has won nothing ?
THE PDC PREMIER LEAGUE
Going in to this Bellyboy and Ando were 5 and 6 points respectively of the top 4, and even Price was 4 points outside the top 4, By the end of a wonderful night of viewing that included superb matches, and great results, Ando's 6 point deficit was now 11 points, Bellyboy's was 10 points behind, and Price despite picking up 2 points was now 7 points adrift of the 4th spot.
First up was Price who started slowly and should have been 2-0 down, but he got stronger as the game went on and Price wrapped up 2 points.
Next up was Ando who comms rimmed as usual, the new Barney, a lazy moaning git, when Wade broke for 5-2 there was no hope for Ando. A Wonderful result. Clayton took on MvG in an absolute belting game, where 2 superb checkouts of 152, and 131 saw MvG level a game when he could have been 4-0 down, and MvG missed the bull for a 164 checkout and a 6-4 win, but Clayton took it to a final leg and won a great match. Clayton earned 2 points that closed the gap on MvG at the top. The final QF game was Cullen against Bellyboy who showed again why the fat fuck is a fucking disgrace. Not even Mason, White, Jenkins, Baxter and Chizzy combined could match the choking abilities of this cunt. His petulance and child like attitude sickens me. It was another wonderful result.
In the semis Wade who has a decent record against Pice continued that, although to be fair neither played their best game, and when Wade went 4-0 up, which included a 161 checkout, there was only result on the cards. In the other semi Cullen despite averaging 7 points less, beat Clayton 6-3 and punished Clayton for missed doubles. It was another result that did Bellyboy and Ando no favours as it widened the gap. The final saw Cullen take a 2-0 lead but Wade completely dominated the scoring . Cullen hung in there and took it to a last leg decider, and despite one of Wades poorest scoring legs, he did enough to claim the win, and he became the 7th player of the 8 in the PL to have won a nights event. He finished with an average over 105. As for Bellyboy, his inability to win an event will only heap more pressure on the choking cunt. I predict tears in the next 2 weeks.
WDF HOWLERS cont......
I did however see via darts connect that Leighton Bennett lost in the boys semi final , it was devastating news to me.
Seems after hit a rare 180, Bennett proceeded to celebrate like a fucking asshole.I am glad I did not see it.
Darts connect showed the averages as 67 and 63.
I watched Dirk and Searle in the PDC final which was top quality then turned over to this munter shit at 2-2 in sets
This semi final in a "world championship" was won with a 76 average...yep a 76 average gets you to a "world final".
Veenstra who they rimmed non stop since his "record average" was barely cracking 90 for the first 5 sets.
When the permed Dutchie went 4-2 down in sets it was all over, as he completely collapsed as did every year when he played in the BDO shit.
Veenstra finished with an average in the 80s. Duff declared he was going to win it now.
Then we got the Honey monster Beau Greaves against Lorraine Winstanley, in a one sided "world semi final".
Shame as I like the Winstanley's, but she won just 2 legs, and it was an abysmal match.
In a leg to save the match Winstanley after 12 darts was still on 305, and out she went and deservedly so.
Comms told us Lorraine is usually better than this.....when ? I must have missed it.
Menzies was constantly referred to as Fallons boyfriend, the same Fallon that turned down the offer to play in this shit.
Tricole went 2 sets up, Menzies made it 2-2, before Tricole held with a 25 dart leg to go 3-2 up in sets.
No one had a fucking clue if there was an interval, neither comms or players.
Tricole missed countless crucial doubles and should have won 5-2, but it went 4-4 in sets.
The final set was like a comp to see who would choke the least, before Tricole after countless match darts finally and deservedly won.
Pinocchio did not look happy at the end as her latest fat useless boyfriend was deservedly beaten.
Bob Potter and his wife were too embarrassed to be seen anywhere.
O'Shea claiming that all the men in the tournament have hit a 9 darter at some point...as if...

From what I read it was a case of Tricole choking and blew at least one set after leading 2-0,
The consensus seemed that even Beau would have beaten either of them.

So not only did the Thornton average more than Duff, so did Beau Greaves.
Needless to say, the total of 105 averages increased as the day went on, and there were more on the Sunday. The Euro tour returns this weekend , which is starting on the saturday an final day on Monday. There will be no Premier League Night Winner Wade, as he failed to qualify, and he failed to qualify for ET #6 & #7. Maybe those failures were the kick in the hole he needed that p[rompted his good form last Thursday.
Lastly, the news broke today that Nigel Pearson passed away, whilst never one of my favorites, he was certainly better than than Nicholson, Pyke, Studd, Mardle, Turner and Petersen. He was only 52, and I did not see what was the cause. I don't recall any previous news of him being unwell. RIP.
