The big news this week was the passing of Andy Fordham R.I.P.

Back in January he tweeted how he got covid and even then people feared for his well being, and his death this week did not surprise many, and that is the sad part that to many people unfamiliar with darts he will be remembered as the huge obese man that appeared on tv numerous times discussing how much he drank, and his health issues, and he is probably known more for that than winning a Bob Potter Cup, or he is remembered by a  lot of the dart fans as the guy who was so unhealthy, he got too tired to even walk to the dart board to retrieve his darts in his match against Phil Taylor that went out on Pay per view in "The Showdown" on sky box office at the time, and the game had to be stopped and all those who paid up the money were short changed.
It was no secret I did not like the man, mostly in part to him being best friends with one of the biggest assholes in the UK in Andy Gorum, a terrorist supporting, wife beating, tax dodging, drink driving scumbag, and all round prick. They say show me your friends and I show you what you are, but I did pity him for his health issues. Fordham was known to sing anti Irish and anti catholic songs, and that made him a bigot in my book. Did he have some affiliation with the troubles ? or was he just trying to impress some scumbag in Gorum,, most likely the latter.  Then the long list of bigots in the bdo is hardly surprising.
Remember Fatzmaurice ? His excuse was he did not know the camera was on when that fat bigot was mocking and insulting people, as if that negated his actions. Or Vic Sexton wanting to bring back golliwogs and moaning about Muslims and Tommy Thompson thinking going around dressed in KKK clothing should be ok, cos Muslims wear burkhas. This is the scene Fordham came from so guess not unsurprising.

But just to be very clear, I take no joy in any players death ever, and as much as I don't like bigots, I still would not wish ill on anyone and I genuinely feel sorry for his family because the biggest tragedy in all of this was his death was mostly self inflicted and therefore needless. He was only 59. I saw on social media where people pointed out his last actions on twitter was to retweet a tweet for McDonalds junk food, and how it summed him up. Regardless of what I thought of Bob Potter Cups, his utterly atrocious record in the PDC, etc he appeared to be well liked by a lot of fans even if I was not one of them. However I saw an article from the Daily Mail  saying how Andy conquered the oche and his health.....eh...no he didn't, the man died, I suggest the asshole who wrote that go back to school and learn the meaning of the words he uses. I get it people want to be nice, make nice sentiments, but spouting absolute bullshit how he conquered health issues when the man died of his health issues to me is condescending shit for a newspaper that tries to pass itself of as some proper newspaper.

I wonder if the little whiny prick Evison feels like a prat this week, after recently moaning how he was not invited in to the Nostalgia Exbo, when he posted this.
Speaking of the event, some people actually thought Chris Mason entering the qualifiers was big news.Seriously does anyone really give a fuck ?

MATCHPLAY

Mensur Suljovic had to withdraw from the Matchplay, replaced with the woeful out of form Wattimena and with all the money currently removed , he now lies in 22nd place in the Order of Merit. The main movers in the OoM going into the Matchplay with all money currently being defended removed are :

Glen Durrant is now down to 14th as Joe Cullen and Ratajski move ahead of him and most likely will be out of the top 16 if he loses first round to Rydz and Rob Cross is down to 11th, a drop of 6 places
Bellyboy is down to 9th....the new Andy Fordham... keep reading...
Going the opposite direction are Ando up to 5th, Chizzy up to 7th, and Jose De sousa keeps climbing.
You can see the current Order of Merit HERE

Other than wanting MVG to continue his barren run, I don't care who wins this as long as they are good games. I don't expect the winner of Rydz and Durrant will do much, Ian Shite is...well shite, Wattimena was in awful form, as is Ratajski and he seems to only have moved up since others around him were even worse. I would like the last 4 to be players like Price , Wright, Wade, De Sousa or other top current players, and have an outsider in among them to create some extra interest.

KNOB OF THE WEEK

The award goes to Paul Nicholson, in fact I did not even know what he did when I decided he is getting it cos he is a fucking prick and because I can give it to whoever I like. So I then went looking to see what sort of inane bullshit he spouted as there is always something and sure enough ...
This week in his sporting life column he picked not one, not 2, but his top 5 for the Matchplay...FIVE, and he picked Price, Wright, and Jose hardly going out on a limb is it ?
But here is the beauty, he omitted MVG, the most successful player currently in the PDC, but picked Rob Dross to do well instead.
He opted to leave out the 3rd most successful player in PDC history and the Winner of the last ranking tv major in James Wade, and he even left out the current Premier League champion in Jonny Clayton.

The Dutch open has been cancelled, which to some people seemed like a big deal, I personally could not have cared less, for those interested it was due to have taken place in September 3rd to the 5th. In fact this news was so irrelevant I almost missed it.

I came across GQ INTERVIEW with El Presidento Uncle Barry., and thought it might interest a few.
It is the sort of interview that will rile up the bitter PDC haters for sure, who normally despise Uncle Barry anyway. How dare he not only get involved in darts, but quadruple the number of tv comps, see the prizemoney be 26 times that of what it used to be, How dare he as a business man see it as a business, how dare he try to grow said business, let alone want it to grow and lest of all actually take a wage for doing so......well worth a read even if he never mentioned the amateur side, then why should he, they are so fuckin insignificant they are not worth a mention.

Some idiot on a forum who was kissing the hole of bottler Tony O'Shea was gloating how he was top of the table in the modus muck earlier today, even when he had averages in the 70s. Well tonight he played 4 and lost 3 and tumbled down the table as he put in a THREE more averages in the 70s and failed to even finish in the top 3 as some Irish kid battered the snot out of all of them, with averages of 101, 100, 99, and 94. This only proves my point I made a couple of weeks ago when I rightly stated O Shea was only selected for the seniors mickey mouse exbo based solely because he has a popular walk on, his game is the pits.

and lastly a couple of pics.
This first one this was posted on a forum I post on and gave me a laugh.
The second one, one of my own creations
