Knob of the Week a lot of times goes to a player that chokes in an event, this weeks winner managed to choke twice in under a week. Step forward Gary Anderson. He was comprehensively battered by Dirk van Divingboard in the Grand Prix, with Ando lucky to get a set, it the last leg, Ando went for a treble on his first dart again forgot it was a double start, then later in the leg left himself on a non finish, and was rightly dispatched. Then in the Premier League and his arse fell out against Durrant. Ando led 9-7 in a race to ten and blew it, missing 4 match darts in the process. Comms told us how Durrant won because of his "skill" but the reality was Durrant won because Ando choked, simple as that. how is Durrant having to depend on others to constantly choke, miss match darts, and throw utter muck a "skill" ?

MVG plays Shitlock and now that Hunchback appears to have got his mojo back he will batter Shitlock, Ando will dispose of Dirk van Divingboard, and think Vermin Price will brush aside Jeffrey de Zwaan. I would love to be wrong and see MVG, Ando and Price lose but again, I simply cannot see it happening over the now even longer distance.
I got my wish with Ando and the vile dutch cunt losing
Starting up the night was Dirk Divingboard against Ando, and I thought this would be a formality. The result was wonderful. I use to like Ando til he became a sulky cunt. His disturbed fans dont help his cause either. With so many players in the top ten defending 6 figure sums in the coming months, a lot of players, like Chizzy, Wade, etc will be glad of his defeat.
Dirk was not lucky either, he fully deserved the win. I did laugh in the last leg when Ando forgot you need a double to start and went for the treble, and not for the first time either, and then left a non finish, and it cost him.
Second up, was Joe Cullen against Dave Dismal. Chizzy who survived 7 match darts in his match on Friday against Joyce then missed 9 set darts in his match against Joe Cullen to trail 1-0 in sets. In the second set Chizzy missed 5 sets darts and that made 14 set darts missed, and he trailed 2-0 in sets.Chizzy did take the next in a scrappy game and in the 4th it was Cullen that started fucking up missing darts for a 2-1 lead in legs, and Chizzy took the 4th set. For all his missed set darts, Chizzy did take out 141, 148, 150, 150, and 155. The game deserved a fifth set...chizzy led 2-0 and throwing for the match it looked all over, but Cullen broke again, and then held to send the match to a last leg decider, which Chizzy won with his 4th match darts. I thought Chizzy deserved it, and was the better player throughout despite tossing away the first 2 sets, and for the second night on the trot came from 2-0 down to win 3-2.
Up next was the player than had so many crying die to him being a late replacement, and the fact he is a choking cunt in general, against the player i dislike the most in darts for his sheer arrogance and failure to ever credit his opponent.
Most readers know I am not a fan of either but as I said earlier I wanted shitlock to win but did not think it would happen, and I am delighted it did. 3 straight sets for Shitlock.
Hunchback won just 2 legs, like Ando in the opening game, this was another case of a player not being unlucky, but deservedly thrashed by the underdog, and both results were well received by many across social media.
All these top players out, and where was Durrant to take advantage ?
Dirk Divingboard has got as far in PDC ranking Majors than Durrant, let that sink in.
Last up was Vermin against Jeffrey de Zwaan. The previous 3 results of the night all went the way I had hoped, could it be 4 on the trot ? Sadly it was not to be as Vermin was superb again, JdZ did not play badly either.
So that left a last 4 of Dirk against Shitlock
and Price against Chizzy. Somewhere out there a ex con, dole fraudster, and wife beater who thinks he is a doctor is watching this thinking these players are not fit to lick the boots of him.
Then it dawned on me, that were Shitlock to win this, and upset Lewis and Bunting, the thought of the scruffy cunt clogging up the next Premier League was not a pleasant thought. so right away I was hoping for a Dirk win, and believed that whilst Chizzy might be Vermins toughest game left, no one was going to stop the Manlet from Lilliput.So the semi fial line up was complete:

The crusty looking great unwashed shitlock appeared as if he was drunk, then started to act the total prick, and tried to put of Dirk with his antics, which triggered a lot of people on forums and twitter, which only served to make them want dirk to win even more. Thankfully Dirk beat him as his own game and was 3-1 up in sets pretty quick, and with all the pressure on dirk he ran away with the next set to wrap it up 4-1. A thoroughly deserved win, it was only later reports came out how Shitlock was acting the prick before he even got on stage. Seems he was backstage telling Dirk how he was already in the final.
I often go on about players and their consistency, Well Dave dismal is without doubt one of the most consistent players ever, You are assured without doubt the simpleton will choke at some point. I knew this before the game even started, but somewhere in the back of my mind I wanted to be proven wrong, If I remember rightly Dave Dismal who I wrote off, came from 3-1 in sets to level the match. Going into the last set I started to question myself and think maybe Chizzy can actually win.....what the fuck was I thinking, this is one of the top 3 chokers in the PDC alonside Ian Shite and Bellyboy. In a final leg decider he missed double 18 for the match, and anyone can miss a match dart, but Dismal returned for another 3 at double 9 and fucked it, and with that lost the match. I expected Price to win the game beforehand, but Dismal Dave getting so near just made it worse. Still it kept me interested right to the end.
After the game was over, that absolute moron Mardle claimed cizzy was over thinking....I laughed at that, Chizzy over thinking, the guy comes across as thick as pigshit. Shows what Mardle knows. Then Mardle would understand Chizzy when you think about iot, both are fucking stupid cunt, and both are known for being chokers who never won a thing of note in their careers.
Anyhow prior to the final I saw people claiming Dirk would choke, which i thought it was harsh, I knew Price would win, not because Dirk would choke, but for the simple reason dirk is unable to play at the level Price is currently playing at. Dirk did a lot better in the final that I expected and did himself proud against a vastly superior player, even if the Vermin is a thundercunt..
A disapointing final to end what was a great comp, and although the lack of live crowds again did kill it a little I enjoyed the comp as I do all proper ranking majors.
On the Wednesday prior to the Premier League one moron on an Irish forum proceeded to claim Durrant was the 4th best player in the World, on another forum, an inbred brummie claimed he was the 5th best player in the world.
Check out this mental cripple....seems the top 4 in the world are MVG, Price, Wright and Durrant, and whilst I agree with the first 3, the inclusion of Durrant is laughable.
It seems some people think that if you post actual stats and facts that contradicts durrant being the 4th best player in the world you must therefore "hate" Durrant. Some people cannot comprehend that I can think Durrant is a fine player but also think he is not top 4.
Next up in the week was the non ranking glorified exbo that was the Premier League. It was fitting that the worst Premier League ever, finished off in a hall with no crowds and with 3 piss poor matches in which not a single player of the 4 performed well.
The only person who could take any satisfaction from their shit performances was Glen Durrant solely because he won.
The first semi final began with Knob of the Week Gary Anderson up against Glen Durrant.
Right away that asshole Mardle started screaming how Durrant was one of the best in the world. I pondered again how could a player who is in the PDC for almost 2 years, and who never won a ranking major be one of the best in the world. That makes zero sense. Then I realized, the people on the forum who were spouting that insane nonsense were obviously drinking the Mardle Kool-aid and bought that shit he was peddling. No normal rational person could deny facts, unless of course they had an agenda.
I have stated numerous times that the only way Durrant seems capable of beating a top player, is if his opponent plays shit, and surprise surprise, Ando was utter shit. The lazy grumpy Scot first changed his darts, and despite him averaging in the 80s he was still in the match, which showed how shit both were. Did I begrudge Durrant winning ? No, if honest neither deserved it, Ando should have won but fucked it away, and Durrant did what a decent solid player would do to a choking cunt and took advantage. The comms tried desperately to gloss over it was an abysmal match and absymal standard for what is suppose to be a showcase event.
After that we had Wright and Aspinall, this was a far better standard, than the 80s shit we got in the first semi final, but again for a semi final it was boring, and poor by pdc standards, Aspinall won deservedly in my opinion, and by the time the final was underway I thought I was watching a bdo event.It had all the criteria.,

Durrant picked up the win and proved yet again my point that the only way he could win a title of any kind was if his opponent played shit, which is what happened twice on the night. It was the LOWEST winning performance ever on Premier League night finals. Glen's average over the 2 games was a sub 90 of 88.97. It was fitting the most mundane and longest most dragged out boring comp in the history of the PDC should end with 3 shit matches., not that durrant should care, why should he ?
The following day one of my stalkers on a forum , the same one who claimed Durrant was the 4th best player in the world was still ignoring my question as to why he was the 4th best player in the world.
Not a single person across multiple forums could explain the criteria they were using to rank Durrant that high. I asked again, and again and still no one could give me the criteria or answer my question.
Is Durrant a good player, yes he is, as I have said last week, and the weeks before he is a decent player up there with Cullen, White, Chizzy etc , those other top 20 players who never won a proper ranking major, but capable of an upset without ever actually winning a proper major and nothing has changed because he won a glorified exbo.
I was then told that Durrant was better than Dimitri van den Bergh, despite Dimi being higher in the Order of Merit, despite Dimi having won an actual ranking major, something Durrant has never been able to do, in fact Dimitri even beat Durrant on his way to that title.
I was then told Durrant was better than Wade, the same Wade with countless majors, the same Wade who was higher in the Order of Merit, and higher in the pro tour order of Merit for this year as well..
Seems Durrant is better than other players that won majors like Gary Anderson, Daryl Gurney, Rob Cross etc....this is how insane the hype has got.
This is not a knock on Durrant the player, as Durrant himself has never claimed to be the 4th best player in the world, he is too modest for that, this is aimed directly at the idiots of Mardle, pyke etc who have brainwashed people into actually believing this shit....and people are now actually buying into it.
Durrant who is not in the top ten of the OoM, not the top 10 of the pro tour, or never won a ranking major in the PDC is somehow the 4th best player in the world. That is some serious fucked shit to be believing. Durrant himself said the win was the highlight of his career, which upset some bdo mushrooms as he dismissed his worthless bdo tinpot cups, Truth is even if the Premier League is an invitational glorified non ranking event, it is still better than Lakeshite, in fact a PDC Euro tour is better than Lakeshite was.
Regardless it was as I said a disappointing end to a dismal Premier League, in which coutless top players all under performed. I personally think there are too many glorified non ranking exbo shit events in the PDC.
The year starts of with the Masters, a nothing event, We have the World series shit which is more invitational crap, we have he upcoming world Cup that is as important as a former bdo event, and we have the Champions League of darts, another nothing event that is basically the same event as the Masters, only created to have something for BBC tv.
The should get rid of the Masters and CloD and create some ranking event to replace then, give me a ranking event over a glorified invitational any day.
Durrants win, and Dirks passage to the final in the Grand Prix meant those 2 players also sealed a spot at the Grand Slam.
Today saw the start of this weekends Euro tour, and the first game of the day that I saw was Mervyn king against some guy called Barauskas, and the game finished 6-5 and was far superior to any of the 3 shit matches in yesterday Premier League which saw Merv win a last leg decider with an near 100 average.
This is why ranking darts is vastly better.
The third person to claim a Grand slam of Darts spot this week was Lisa Ashton, who tonight won the PDC munters qualifier.
The last 8 were arguably the best 8 munters in game,outside of Suzuki who already had her spot sorted as bdo munter chump. but in the end what does it matter. Everyone already knew Tommy Cooper lookalike Lisa Ashton was the best munter player in said comp, but she will do fuckall in the Slam, her PDC record and munter stats in general say it will be a complete miracle if she ever got out of the group, then the male bdo players always struggled to do that also.
Tonight as I mentioned earlier the euro tour returned, and the performance of the day was Gabriel Clemens with a 103 average and now plays Wade, and I expect Clemens to win, and should he get a decent run he could be Germanys #1 before the weekend ends and hardly surprising as in my opinion he is a vastly better player than Hopp.
Merv King who had a near 100 average earns another tie with MVG.
Speaking of that vile dutch hunchback, seems he was getting grief for some of his comments about Durrant, seems like sour grapes from the cunt and is still brooding since Durrant made him his personal bitch. I read MVG is getting grief for said comments towards Durrant.
Saturdays line up looks very tasty, even with Wright and KotW Ando missing the event.
