Steve West seems to be making a habit of missing match darts and losing the match. Tonight against Mervyn King he missed at least 3 match darts to beat Merv 6-3, and lost the match, even had match darts at 5-5..
Jamie Hughes had an even worse choke last weekend when he led against Dave Dismal Chisnall 5-0 and lost 6-5.
But the worst performance of the week by a tourcard holder had to be that over rated coal scavenging Jamie Lewis. Most people seemed to concentrate on his performance on the Sunday where he averaged 44...no that is not a typo...forty four. Mickey Mansell was not as bad as that and got fined.
I did not agree with Mansell's fine, as I said back then anyone can have an off day, but this was more that one off day.
The day before Lewis led Bells Palsy features Glen Durrant 2-1 and was playing well enough and then his game went to pieces, by the time he was 5-2 down he was averaging 70,, so you can argue it was not a one off bad day, but 2 bad days.

Think I deserve a mention for fucking up last week, and claiming Dobey won the last Euro Tour final.It was won by Dave Dismall, so not entirely unreasonable to assume Chisnall choked in said final. That is what happens when you type up this after the pub.

I gave him a chance again tonight and it was sheer fucking torture. I had to endure his mind numbingly atrocious bullshit when he went on about Ivana Trump, Christmas Carols, the Big Bang Theory, TV adverts , and other inane bullshit. I had to mute it again.
That reminds me, a big thank you to FrostedGT on twitch who last week streamed the Euro Tour with no commentary, but full audio otherwise.
Was great to hear the crowd, the caller, the sound of the darts, but no comms.
