Whenever the BDO fuck up, which is almost always, I always lay the blame for that at the chairman of the BDO, so when the PDC makes a fuck up the same rule applies and the chairman of the PDC bears the blunt.
I have always said the Grand Slam of Darts as a comp has the most retarded qualification process of all PDC competitions, and especially more so now , since the clusterfuck has been a ranking event for a number of years.
This week Glen Durrant was whining how he does not know if he is going to be representing the BDO in the Grand Slam. I do not think he should, and yes I know many people will spout the nonsense that the BDO Lakeshite champion should be there, but he is no longer a BDO player.
Barry Hearn said around a year ago that the 8 spots on offer to the BDO will be decided by the BDO board, so essentially the 8 players the BDO decide to pick is solely their choice.
For once I am on the side of the BDO and the BDO have a priority to look at their own players interests and selection. Why should the BDO reward Durrant when he is no longer a BDO player, did Durrant not walk out on them after live on tv saying he was BDO for Life.. You could argue he stabbed the bdo in the back and the BDO owe him no "loyalty", or he is no longer "family". The once leader of the BDO Olly Croft was the one who spouted the infamous line "we dont owe the players a living", and in that case they owe a player who walked out on them even less. The BDO need to keep their own players happy.
The BDO have the right to pick whatever players they choose, and Durrant has absolutely no right to seek a place in the BDO selection after he walked out on them.
My main issue is the qualification process as a whole. Would I like to see Durrant as the Grand Slam...the answer is yes, but being there for what he did in the PDC seeing as he is now a PDC player.
This is where the criteria makes absolutely fuck all sense.
This year Glen Durrant, Willie O Connor, and Jeffrey de Zwaan all won a players championship in a field of 128 players where they had to win 7 games to claim the title, yet this might not get them in the Grand Slam...yet some jobber like Andrew Gilding can turn up at a qualifier, with a field of entrants far less in quality than that of a standard players championships, win 4 games and reach the last 8 and earn a spot.
Surely to fuck winning a players championship in a full field of 128, supersedes some lesser event full of jobbers where only a last 8 spot gets you a spot at the Slam.
In previous years, we had that lazy cunt Barney get in via the World Cup after being carried by MVG, and Barney should not have even been in the dutch team to begin with.
James Wade in the past 10 months has won the European championship, The World Series of Darts Final, and 3 players championships this year and is still not officially qualified and could miss out, yet some bum like Kirk Shepherd crawls up to some depleted qualifier, makes a last 8 and gets a spot....how the fuck is that right ?
Durrant should be in the Slam, not because of his 2 bit Lakeshite hotel Cup, but because he won a PDC ranking title...all be it a floor title, as should O Connor, De Zwaan and all other bona fide winners of PDC titles
Leaving out ranking comp winners for runners up in a qualifier proves what a clusterfuck of a qualification system is in place.
All ranking title winners should get a spot, and if that means less spots for some shit qualifier so be it, I rather watch Durrant, De Zwaan and O Connor who are actual competition winners in the PDC this year instead of the likes of a Gilding, shepherd etc who rock up and have a lucky run on one day and get in by just reaching a last 8.
Then there is the ranking, which is another flaw with this comp considering proven winners could be left out, bdo players are allowed enter. BDO players should not be playing in PDC ranking comps...simple.
IF the BDO players are invited, which I have no issue with, then the comp needs to be non ranking.
Are PDC players allowed to play in BDO ranking events ? No, of course not, you would have cunts like that poisonous dwarf cunt Warty Montgomery cry how its not right, but the same hypocrite cunt would have no problem turning up to a PDC ranking comp cap in hand begging for the PDC coin, and then fail to see his hypocrisy.
Oddly enough, it was Gilding who was one of those jobbers last year who took advantage of the retarded qualification and got in via a qualifier and was the one who knocked out Glen Durrant who was then a BDO player representing the BDO for which he was a member then.
I firmly believe winners of Floor comps, Euro tours, and TV majors should be in and given priority over jobbers having a lucky day in a qualifier.

A mention for Peter Wright who has been a fucking disgrace this year in the Premier League, and won just 2 games in the entire league, his last 6 games I believe were all defeats and he played like a cunt who did not give a fuck. I think the bottom 2 players each year in the PL should exempt from getting in the next year, that might motivate the cunts like Krusty and Bellyboy, another choking cunt....as thankfully the head shaking prick Barney will be retired and getting the rest of his hair transplant sorted for his gold digging girlfriend.......oh wait...it might be love,
Last Sunday Krusty broke down and sobbed like a little bitch after he finally got a win over MVG , who if we are honest has patchy in recent months, Krusty could not even give an interview. He must have thought the title was his, and when Ian White is beating you in a final, you must realize you are on the slide. I do not like the whole Krusty gimmick, but the problem is a lot of fans who attend events do. His whole gimmick is something I don't envisage the PDC want to see disappear just yet as its something sky and the PDC like to promote. That said Krustys slide is well and truly underway, and while he wont be doing a Wes Newton and free fall completely, he will be out of the top 8 before long with the form of a lot of other players, and I wont miss him if he drops event further.

Yep...still nothing as we get nearer to June. No mention yet of a sponsor for this CatasTrophy, no mention of a venue, so no surprise that tickets wont be available either. Then what this is what you get when you elect a scumbag and proven liar to the board of the BDO, The bdo "family" are getting what they deserve.

Saw this on twitter, where some guy going by the name @robertsonharryr decided to have a go at Gerwyns Price's kid.
I saw some people try to actually defend this guy saying Gerwyns kid should not be on twitter, because of her age and regardless of ones opinion, it does not negate the fact, that Gerwyns kid is out of bounds and its just scummy for an adult to go for the child in order to get a rise out of her dad.

Also this week , the PDC did do one thing right and apply the rules equally to the World Cup selection for the main teams. I was delighted the headshaker did not rob yet another player of a deserved spot in the World Cup, and awarded the rightful spot to Jermaine Wattimena., which I and others across social media had hoped.
If only they could fix the Grand Slam of Darts qualification process now.
