The honey monster announced that she will probably do the munter Series next year. Why was this news ? If she made a decision one way or another I might understand, but announcing you might do something is hardly worthy of an announcement.
What is she holding out for, meal vouchers ? the Barnsley Metrodome to open an all you can eat buffet ? I suspect Ashton, Pinocchio etc will see it as, the more she wanders around the shit holes of Europe playing for worthless WDF ranking points, the more the others without an agenda who play PDC can compete for the top in the PDC munters series.
You would think after the Selectas killed the BDO the old tribal shit would have ended, but it seems backward throwbacks like Greaves, Duff etc with that bitter ignorant and stupid mentality of us and them, still occupy the game.
And before any inbred cunt cries how I am picking on a girl, if you really believe in equality then she is just as deserving or criticism as a man, and for any cunt crying she is a kid, she is well over 18.
THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The 4 players championships were not only won by 4 different players, but there was 8 different finalists. Dolan did not win a single game in the first 3 days, and won 7 to win the title in the 4th day.
He joins Adrian Lewis and Dirk van Duijvenbode where all 3 go in to the matchplay with unbeaten runs of 7 games, as Fatpot and Dirk did not return after their wins. That gobshite Paul Nicholson said Dolan and Clayton were the 2 best double 16 hitters in the world in the final of the 4th day, except he said it in the semis and other games about Damon Heta and others, He spews such bullshit.
For the last few weeks we have heard the same spiel over and over, how that irritating arrogance cunt Luke Humphries is one of the best as he won 3 euro tours, how Bellyboy is the most inform player cos he won just one non ranking invitation world series event.
Both players are playing well at certain times,but those hyping Humphries and Smith conveniently leave out how Barbara the Twink battered Bellyboy in the following world Series, how when Bellyboy did manage to win a couple of player Championships, they had depleted fields with many top players not included. Last week in the 4 players champs he missed match darts and went out on 3 consecutive days against so called lesser players. He choked, plain and simple and that is why he has won nothing of note. Humphries has thrown some great stuff, but his euro tours saw many top 10 players missing also, lets see how he does on TV in a proper major with a full field of the elite.
To be fair, if there is ever a time for an underdog to win this event, its this year. Gary Anderson, James Wade, Rob Cross and Jose De Sousa are hardly playing like elite players and think the majority of them will be gone before the last 16 is over. Price, Wright and MvG are far too inconsistent, and with Dimitri defending 150k there will be more pressure on him than there was on Fordhams knee joints. Basically it is time for all those running their mouth to put up or shut up.
I refuse to believe Fatpot "is back", even if he is one of my favorites I like watching, was happy to see Gilding cement a place as he too is another I enjoy watching. Personally I think Ando, Wade, Dimitri and De Sousa will soon start dropping down the rankings, Dimitri and Ando are defending a lot in this comp so will start dropping quicker.
The draw itself was a great one, the line up superb, and should be an awesome comp. Normally in big tv comps I would want certain players not to win, but even MvG winning this would not bother me if he played well, as it would put pressure back on Krusty and Vermin and they might wake up from their slumps. I do not have to hope Bellyboy fucks up, he is well capable of fucking it up regardless of what I and others might wish.
That second quarter of the draw is one of the toughest quarters I have ever seen. In fact Wade is the world #5, and he would not be in the top 3 favorites to get out of that quarter, that's how tough that section is.

Bellyboy has the ability to beat anyone, and has possibly the easiest quarter of the draw but as history has constantly proven he lacks the minerals to cross the line , so there will never be value for money with him. I know some will think he is bound to win an event soon, but the same was said about Chizzy, Mardle, Jenkins, Baxter, Mason, etc. Krusty at 7-1 is a proven winner, but I don't believe he is playing well enough, and I think the bookies have got the right clear favorite in MvG, and if he comes out flying, expect his price to drop radically. It looks like the most open Matchplay ever.
Tickets for the munters Matchplay were doing atrocious according to multiple people, and what crowd they will have will be those who bought tickets back in 2020 and instead of getting a refund allowed the tickets to roll over for a couple of years had they wished. I bet come Sunday they will be wishing they got the cash back. Speaking of cash, the payout for this is 10k for the winner, 5k for the losing finalist, 2.5k for the losing semi finalist, and first round losers get 1250 quid. I would imagine this will all be unranked money, which it should be.
One of the lads I was speaking with earlier made a few posts earlier this evening on his travels about Blackpool.
I saw an article earlier on a supposed "news site" naming the 5 biggest absentees from the Matchplay, and of the 5, I could only see one player I would have liked to see have made qualification.

Simon Whitlock is the only one I would not mind seeing, he has some passion and fight, in good form recently but left himself too much to do.
Speaking of the heat, which would finally kill of Merv King, the Winter Gardens will be like an oven. So don't expect Bellyboy who gets more like Andy Fordham's body double each week, or Wade who looks 9 months pregnant, or Fatpot who sweats in the middle of winter to be anywhere near peak performance, they can use that as an excuse when they fail.
I cannot wait to see Callan Wygz try keep his comb over in place in this heat on the stage, you just know he is going to look a complete spastic. Poor old Joe Cullen has no way of hiding his helicopter landing pad either.
