THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.
As I said last week my only hope was that MVG would not win, and got my wish. The last 4 was a decent line up with only the one of the 4 being a former champion in Anderson. I was hoping the winner of Anderson and Chisnall would win it outright, but first up was Bunting against Vermin Price who got through 2 last leg deciders, both against Northern Ireland players.
In Set 1 Bunting took out 120 to break in leg one, before Price broke back with a 109, and went with throw to a 5th leg in which Price threw first and held to take the set with a 107 average.
In set 2 Price broke early and held and was waiting on tops for the set when Bunting took out 82 to just hold, and then broke so the set went 5 legs again, and Bunting held to level a match in which he was second best.
Set 3 - Price hit 116 to hold, Bunting held and then broke with a 81, to be throwing for the set, bit missed a set dart and Vermin broke back, and Bunting who was now the better player hit another max and broke for a 2-1 lead in sets.
Set 4 - Bunting took out 136 to hold and was finishing at over 80%, Price took out 131 to hold, but missed double 13 for a 146 and Bunting held, and then broke for the set with the aid of his 6th maximum. Vermin was not fist pumping like the prick he is.
Set 5 - Bunting missed 3 to break, and Price held, then got a crucial break and held for the set.
Set 6 - Price broke, and then held as Bunting's doubles started to desert him, Bunting did hold, but so did Price as he took out 100 for the set and level the game. Price's average was still over 100.
Set 7 - Price held with ease, and took out 128 to break, his 6th ton plus checkout, and despite hitting his 10th maximum on throw for the set Bunting hit a 148 to break throw and he then held to see the set go to a 5th leg. Price had throw and despite a sweet score of 168 he missed set darts, and Bunting won the set with a huge 118 out. That was the second set at least that Price threw away and missed set darts in.
Set 8 - Bunting had the darts and he held, as did Price, and Price took out 98 to break, and on his throw for the set, hit his 12th maximum to leave 44 after 9, and returned to level the game 4-4 in sets. Price was 10 from 10 on double 10 and averaging almost 102. Bunting was averaging a very good 98. This was an Ally Pally classic.
Set 9 - Price held taking out 112, a 12th ton plus checkout in the match and a new PDC record. Price now missed double 10 for the first time but it did not matter as he broke throw and was throwing for the set and hit 6 perfect darts and took the set 3-0......5-4 in sets.
Set 10 - Price missed the bull for a 170 to break, and returned to miss more doubles to break as Bunting held, and then Price threw a poor leg but Bunting hitting his 10th maximum, Price took out another ton plus checkout to hold. In leg 3 Bunting threw a poor leg on throw and Price missed 3 darts at a double to break, but got another go and broke and was now throwing for the match, and started with back to back 140's, and left tops after 12 darts. Bunting hit his 12th maximum to put pressure on but it mattered not as Price won it 6-4.
Price was the better player, and his average never dipped below 3 figures, and could be argued he should have won easier and tossing away a couple of sets and credit to Bunting he took his chances and was very solid, finishing with an 96 average which was very good considering. Price had 50% more attempts at a double than Bunting such was Price's scoring of 15 maximums and 31 x 140s,
Bunting will be pleased with his efforts and was up to world #17.....only 16 players in the World better than him. Some people would have you believe there was only 2.
Price was only 2,500 quid behind Peter Wright for the #2 spot in the OoM, and were he to be World Champion he would also be a well clear World #1.
Ando and Chizzy would have to go some to follow that previous match.
Set 1 - Leg 1 Dave missed 2 darts to break, Leg 2 Dave missed another 2 to hold but got another go, Leg 3 Ando took out 124 to go 2-1 up, and Ando made a mess of 72 to break for the set, and it went to a fifth leg and Ando held to win the set. Chizzy had not got going.
Set 2 - Chizzy upped it and held throw with a 170 out, then broke and throwing for the set missed 2 set darts, and after getting another go missed another 2 and Ando broke, Chizzy missed another 3 set darts to break and it went to a fifth leg and finally Dave hit a set dart and leveled the game. It was already 15 missed doubles in the match for Chizzy.....Bunting only missed 16 in his 10 set match.
Set 4 - Even though this was best of 11, already Chizzy looked in serious trouble and Ando broke first leg, and held with ease. Chizzy held throw when Ando missed 2 set darts, and Chizzy missed a dart to break and lost the set. Chizzys average was dropping, he was hitting a heap of 5's and it was typical Chizzy. He has no consistency.
Set 7 -Chizzy broke and then held to keep hanging in, and hit an 11th maximum to put pressure on Ando's throw. Ando held, and Ando then missed darts for the set, and Chizzy was lucky to hold and win the set. 4-3 and somehow Chizzy was still in this game.
Set 8 - Ando broke, then held and Chizzy was now in the shit, but ando missed 4 set darts, but Chizzy was so poor now Ando returned and took the set......5-3.
Set 9 - Ando held throw, and once he broke that was it as he held for the deserved win.
Ando finished with a 100 average to Chizzy's 98, both hit 13 maximums, but Ando was the better player.
As for Chizzy, he was now up to 6th in the ranking. He also proved once again I was right what I said in that the inconsistent cunt will never....EVER...win a PDC Major no matter what his ranking will be. Bellyboy made it up to 4th without ever winning anything of note. What was I thinking when I said last week Chizzy could extricate himself from the JC Hall of Shame, what was I thinking, He will forever be one of the 3 stooges stinking up the PDC top 12 and that snatch in his throw.....
So we had an Ando -v- Price final a repeat of the Grand slam final a couple of years ago where Vermin made Ando his bitch, so much to the point he threw a strop, and became Vermin's bitch over the next few meetings.
Already Ando was getting his excuses in before the game how the quarter final was a bonus, the semi final was a bonus, as if to state he would be happy with a runners up spot.
That said I wanted Ando to win as Vermin is a fucking cunt. Like that other cunt MVG I have no time for people that use tactics. I had no problem with Bristow or Taylor acting the cunt before a match or after it, but acting the cunt in the match after every 3 darts is being a prick. If the Welsh cunt conducted himself in a better manner, I doubt many would begrudge him the win. Before the final I spotted this mental illness on twitter.
Why would a person goings up 2 places in the ranking constitute "excitement" I get a person could happier if their favorite player qualified for a competition, or the player themselves happy to get in the top 10, but how would Vermin Price going from world #3 to world #1 be "exciting" to a darts fan. What sort of sad pathetic cunt lives an existence so miserable that this would be classed as excitement ?
A players ranking does not make him exciting....look at Rob Cross, he has as much charisma as Wes Newton had and he is world #4,
A top 10 match on TV of Cross against James Wade would not be classed as "exciting", yet both are top 10 players.
There were games in this years world that had no top 10 players in them that were exciting games, ranking had fuckall to do with it.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL
Wayne Mardle told us he was a world champion like Mark Webster and Richie Burnett, and I laughed like a cunt at the absurdity of this.
Price was the better player, that is a fact. He averaged a 100 and for most of the match was around 8 points ahead, Even when Price missed Match darts Anderson shat himself when it mattered.
Price's fist pumping and antics were nowhere as bad as usual and showed some actual signs of humility. He was a deserved winner. As for Ando, it looked liked he could not wait to get off the stage, and as said earlier gave up after set 4....and for that alone he wins Knob of the Week, his attitude stinks.
As for this shit by Ando how he is going to do the full tour next year cos Rod Harrington hurt his feelings, I will believe that when I see it.
Barney spent years spouting that line too, to get a PL spot and then as he got his PL spot, he started skipping events,
Then there were all his darts to win sets he fucked away, there was 4 alone to take the set and it would have been 6-4 in sets and made Price really question himself.

I wondered why so many Mushrooms were supporting Ando and despising Price, then I found out why. Price never really played bdo tour, he went straight to q-school and progressed up the ranking. Yet when I asked in the past how it took quarter of a century plus the split in darts and the exodus of the top 16, plus years later the exodus of Barney, king etc for Martin Adams to lift a Bob Potter Cup I was told it "took time for Martin to mature". Yet somehow Ando is not able to mature because he plays in the PDC. THE BDO JANUARY JOBBER JAMBOREE
I see people across social media lamenting the death of the BDO. I have always said the Bob Potter Hotel Cup was the best live comedy tour ever. The fact it was unintentional comedy only served to make it even better. Yes there are plenty of people missing the shit this January, but not me, as good as that comedy was I am glad the BDO is dead. Fuck the BDO. Shame those scumbag Selectas were not hired earlier and they could have killed it off quicker.

2 years ago Wade got to the PL semi final, and he was not invited back the following year, This year he reaches the final of 2 "televised majors" and gets left out. If that were Bellyboy reaching them 2 finals, he would be in.That I am convinced of. Show me a person out there who would prefer to see Cross in the Premier League ahead of Chizzy, and I will show you someone mentally disturbed.
Chizzy like Wade seems to be another not in their little "clique".Jose deSousa is in for winning the Slam, so obviously importance is put upon the Grand Slam, but the finalist Wade is not in ? It would not surprise me if the PDC are waiting to see if Barney gets his tour card in euro Q-school so they could invite him undeservedly again, What if Wade or Chizzy wins the Masters ?, will they still be omitted for someone else ?
This is why the Premier League is not now, never was, and never will be a proper Major. It might have major money, major exposure, but will never be a true major, how can it be when it has a flawed selection process where top 10 players reaching televised finals are systematically omitted, with lesser players replacing them, add in that not only is it invitation, its non ranking also.
THE PDC MASTERS
As many know I am not a lover of the Masters in general, nor the Premier League, Champions League, World Cup etc because I care less about non ranking events than I care about proper ranking evnts, That is not to say those non ranking events do not serve a purpose. Usually the Masters is a top 16 event, the next one will now be a 24 man event....yes I said man, as no munter will ever be good enough to ever be in the top 24, and no pc bollix will ever alter that.
So having an extra 8 players in the event which means more extra matches is good news right ?
Wrong, it seems some people, who call themselves darts fans are crying about the added players. Seemingly more matches on tv is a bad thing. I get that the PDC haters who are mostly ex bdo scum prefer less darts on tv, smaller prize money etc, and lets be honest they got that with the bdo. Take a look at some of the comments I saw
I have zero sympathy for players 9 -16. The new players added are lower in the rankings so if the players ranked 9 - 16 are not capable of beating players beneath them in the ranking then that is their problem.

You have the slow plodding out of form Durrant up against King. Winner of that plays the out of form Rob Cross....bleak match ups.To compound the other half of that quarter of the draw, sees out of form Mensur, another slow cunt, up against out of form Ian Shite and the winner of those 2 to play out of form Aspinall. That whole section is grim as fuck. That said will still watch it, as unlike those that pretend to be dart fans, I actually am one.
No one with a modicum of intelligence would ever consider putting a post split Bob Potter hotel cup on a par with a proper genuine real World title.
Spineless cunt Adams, as mentioned countless times needed not only a split,but also needed the exodus of the top 16, and and another decade , plus he needed Barney, King etc to fuck off before he won 3 Bob Potter Cup in a field so depleted any pub player could have a chance of winning, in fact a pub player in Phill Nixon almost did when he won 6 sets on the trot. To put Spineless and other post split Bob Potter Cup winners in the same bracket as MVG is mental illness at its very worst.
Glen Durrants 3 mickey mouse pots came after that in the same horrendous and depleted field of pub jobbers. Glen himself has openly said on TV the greatest win of his career was a non ranking, invitational exbo run by the PDC. ...that is a fact.
John Part does not have 3 world titles he has 2. One was a poxy win over Kirk Shepherd in the worst quality World Championship final ever. I cannot fault his second, to beat Prime Taylor in a best of 13 sets is a fantastic win.
His Bob Potter win is a joke, he beat Bobby George....yes Bobby George. I have always liked bobby, but this was a washed up , well past his best bobby, and with a fucking broken back, according to him. Part won that 6-0 in sets with an 82 average...no that is not a typo...an 82 average.
Lowe and MVG are bonafide 3 time proper World champions. The BDO title ceased being not only a World title after the split, it ceased being anything of note. Christian Kist won a Bob Potter Cup, the same Kist a year or so before covid went 6 months without a single win in the PDC. The gimpy cunt with the goldfish mouth and more medical ailments than Mervyn King announced he is making a comeback, good luck with that. That is right, when Kist won a Bob Potter cup with an average of exactly 90 in 2012, one missed dart away from an average in the 80s, Adrian Lewis was winning a PDC title.
When Scott Waites took time off from screwing on hinges on a door in Featherstone and went on a drinking bender for a week and won a Bob Potter Cup with an 83 average in 2013, Phil Taylor was averaging 20 points higher whilst he was winning a proper world title. in the same month.
When prostate hole Adams was falling over the line with a 90 average against a pub player in Phill Nixon, Taylor and Barney in the PDC both finished with ton plus averages in a classic world final.
When that fat insecure farmer and attention whore with an invisible dog was stinking out Bob's Hotel picking up the Comedy award in 2015 , Phil Taylor and Gary Anderson were playing out a 13 set classic at Ally Pally, with far higher averages obviously....is anyone sensing a pattern here yet ?
Even the worst final in the history of the PDC saw John Part beat Kirk Shepherd and he won it with a higher average than what Mark Webster had when he won the bdo mickey mouse 2 bit version in the same month in 2008.
In fact the highest average in the history of the BDO in a post Lakeshite final is that of Richie Burnett at 97.14, and he lost with that. That average has been battered over 30 odd times in PDC world finals.
I have seen people on forums actually openly state John Walton was the best player in the world when he won a Bob Potter Cup in 2001 cos of his 95 average, meanwhile Phil Taylor in 2001 was winning a proper World title, with an average of 107, but somehow Walton was better than Taylor....go figure....Walton has not won a comp since then....in 20 years.
