HUNGARIAN EURO TOUR

By 5 past 4 on last Saturday afternoon half the worlds top 32 were either knocked out or had not entered the Euro tour. Smudger, Wright, Van Veen were among those knocked out along with the absence of Clayton, Ando and those not good enough to qualify in Bellyboy and Babs.

Barney averaged almost 108 in beating Chizzy, which put him in the current European finals spot overtaking Chizzy in the process, and also got Barney only pittance outside the Grand Prix spots. Rob Cross beat Gurney which put him at the time within 750 quid of the European finals,

By 10pm 21 of the Worlds top 32 were gone as Heta, Asp and many others went out including Bunting who was 5-2 up and almost 250 points ahead in the leg and lost not only the leg but the match.
On the Sunday there were 7 players outside the top 16 in the last 16 and by the time it reached the last 8, it was more traditional in that 5 of the last 8 were in the top 8 of the world at that time, the 3 players outside were Rock #10, Noppert #14 and Springer #70.
Seemingly MvG is not back, just like I said last week, and ignore the morons on comms who would try brainwash you, as I also said as soon as its a ranking event we will see how he does and he went out in the last 16 to Noppert.
LAST 8: I was looking forward to Price, Wade and Humphries in the session. Price pulled out cos he was "sick", and Wade may as well have done the same with Wade averaging 79 and 3-0 down, and left himself too much to do as he is fast becoming Fat Josh's personal bitch. Was he hoping to go out quick and leave on the same plane as his friend Price ? Noppert beat Dobey. Springer got Humphries and beat him too in a class encounter that saw 10 maximums.
SEMIS: We got faggy Noppert against Short Fat Cunt #1 and Springer against Short Fat Cunt #2 and thought fuck that, and when I came back saw Noppert had beaten Littler, and turned it back on and watched Springer beat the other fat short cunt, it was magnificent.

FINAL : The final saw 2 players who each deserved to win,  Noppert had won 4 games beating Littler, Dobey, MvG and Owen, whilst Springer won 5 beating Van Veen, Heta, Cross, Humpries and Rock. I wanted Srpinger to win but would not have begudged Noppert, and sure enough Sspringer's fairytale weekend continued as he not only took the title, made certain his place in the european championships, and is 7k inside the qualifying spots for the World Grand Prix, where entry to the GP and ECF will be free money where he defends zero.He is also in the qualifying spots for the Players championships finals

RANKINGS
Springer moved up 4 places to #66, and whilst that might seem not much, with entry to multiple TV events secured, no money to defend he will soon not only be in the top 64, but crashing towards the top 48 soon.
As for Noppert his decent run saw him move up 2 spots to #13, Rock moved up a spot to #10. The big losers at the weekend was Chizzy down 2 spots to #16, White down 2 to #50, De Sousa down 3 to #62

SWISS EURO TOUR
The main emphasis for most players this weekend was positioning in the races for the European championships, and the Grand Prix.
It was the usual Friday levels for the most part which included to averages in the 70s, 2 of the 5 lowest averages of 2025 in the Euro tour, with the only shocks being the exit of Gilding, possibly Gurney, and Lukeman losing to Mensur not really a shock for me. Ratajski winning puts him in the Grand Prix spots temporarily and Edhouse not only winning but now getting a bye next round with Smudger pulling out saw him jump well inside the European championships spots, both Ratajski and Edhouse winning was bad news for Magpie, even if it was a result I welcomed as seeing that match fixing cunt Nijman losing is always a bonus, he has no place in the game. Magpie did what he had to do in walloping Gurney, keeping him less than 3k outside the EC spots, and still in this comp and has the added bonus of being in the next Euro tour, it also keeps him 2.k outside the Grand prix with the chance to close it even more and get in the qualifying spots this weekend.

Seemingly Hunchback withdrew as he wanted to focus on the Players championships and get in to the PC Finals, where he is currently 103rd, 37 places outside the top 64 and almost 10k outside, but surely more games even in euro tours would mean more match practice, I hope the fat ogre cunt fails. Along with MvG and Smudger, Littler, Price and Ando also gave the event a skip.
We get 2 more Players champs during the coming week which again will play a huge part in future rankings and Grand Prix qualifiers before we get a proper fucking ranking Major, not a premier event, b type major or some meaningless non ranking mickey mouse event but a real old time major with history, importance, and obviously ranking.

As for the upcoming players championships in which Littler misses one of them the usual withdrawals, including Willie Borland the guy with teeth like an abandoned graveyard, Jobber Lukasiak who had no problem stinking out Friday's euro tour with his presence, Jules Van Dongen who at least has some excuse in that he suffered a meltdown and is throwing left handed these days, Ladyboy Rusty Jake who I believe is suspended, wonder if was hormone treatment, and Tim Wolters, who like Borland are a fucking disgrace, they took time of work, paid money to try qualify for a tour card and then not use it. The PDC should have a rule if you win a card and opt to not try keep it you should be banned for Q-school for at least 3 years.

for that reason Knob of the Week goes to Borland .

Lastly, with the Grand Prix upcoming its interesting to se which players are defending large sums  with Humphries defending 120k which means an early exit and a Littler win could see Littler be within touching distance of overtaking Humphries. Cullen defends 40k and whilst he has qualified, his form suggests he wont get anywhere near the final again, and an early exit could see him drop far below the 27th spot he currently holds. Price defends a final spot and 60k and even if he won the event he still would not the top 4 in the world. Bellyboy defends 40k and is not in the Grand Prix currently and whilst he is the world #21, after the Grand Prix will drop to at least  #'27
