With the World watching the greatest show on Earth -The PDC World championships, the BDO should be using this opportunity to piggyback on the media attention, instead we get nothing, publicity for Lakeshite is virtually non existent, but the really joke is the rumored contracts the BDO want their players to sign.
Last week an announcement was due on Blackpool, but again nothing forthcoming, all this while players are expected to sign some retarded contract that would in their opinion legally tie the players to the BDO for a year.
I think Sue (aptly named) really is this stupid thinking players would sign them or that they might even be worth the paper they are scribbled on.
On the Eve of the biggest event in the BDO calender which will be a complete fiasco, so many players are unhappy, so if you are one of the lucky ones who knows how to record of the red button or even have the ability to do so, then record it, you will see an event that will be a cross between live comedy, and a vision of what darts was like in the last century.
Add in the fact that most of the players on show will be cashing in their meat vouchers, drying the piss of their shoes and taking the chance to play darts in the 21st century.
No doubt this week might see another announcement of an announcement, its the super series all over again.
