I said during KotW when De Decker went out early at Ally Pally De Decker was fucked, he is not in the clique, the PDC did not want him winning any event despite any pretend joy they had for him. De Decker is not the first TV ranking title winner to be ignored in the Premier League selection, but unlike Gilding, Smudger and Cross who won their tv titles on ITV, De Decker won it on Sky TV so surely Sky would want him as one of their picks right ?
You can make an argument about Price to a certain extent being more deserving than Aspinall being an ex world champion, but that argument fails when Cross was a former world champion when he was omitted one year after winning a tv title. Price is not even the top Welsh player, Clayton had a better year than Price, so did the aussie Cabbage Heta, but the inclusion of Stutters Aspinall is a complete joke. Outside the Masers and UK Open, the most basic floor championships seem more appealing than any PL or exbo shit.
On a happy note, was lovely to see the Man in a bra who tries to bullshit others he can alter the laws of biology was sent packing in Q-school and failed to make it to the later stages of Q-school.
