Last January I posted this about the Irish youth players Keane Barry, the kid is a great prospect.
Last weekend he finished second in the PDC 2020 development tour and earned a full 2 year PDC card, as did Ryan Meikle, who finished top of the table and Berry van Peer. Keane Barry also qualified for the PDC World championships, and of course the Youth world championships, all sounds great doesn't it ?
Except his dream in the Youth world championships was ended in the last 16 by Martin Schindler.....yes the same Martin Schindler who is a tourcard holder, #56 in the PDC rankings and is 24 years of age. How is that fair when a 24 year old experienced tourcard holder is playing in a youth world champs ?
Ryan Meikle, the guy that finished above Keane Barry on the Development tour is also 24. Why are 24 year olds playing on the youth tour. Meikle was knocked out in the last 8 by Jeffrey De Zwaan, who is, another 24 year old and is yet another tourcard holder, and is ranked #25 in the Order of Merit.
How is that right when genuine youths like Kean Barry, Callan Rydz etc are being turfed out of youth competitions by players that should not be in a youth competition, and full pro's that not only have a tour card, but some in the top 32 in the world.
Its a complete joke, and unfair on the real youths.
Last year it was won by Fluke Humphries, not only did that "youth" he have a wife, the cunt had kids, a beard, and a fucking beer belly as stated in the above tweet.
In what other universe is a 25 year old a youth ? If he broke the law and was sentenced, would he be in a young offenders home or in a adult prison getting bummed ? What age can you join the terrorist organisation the British Army and legally shoot and murder people ? What age can you get pissed ? See the point ?.
I could even make an allowance for having up to 21 year olds in it, but having experienced mid 20 year olds with tourcards up against genuine youths makes a mockery of things, and for that I blame the PDC.

Last weekend was only the second euro tour of the year, and it was as always, in my opinion a great watch. The euro tours are one of my highlights of the year, and this one was no different. The main news on the Friday night was how 5 ze Germans got through the first round, as if anyone gave a flying fuck as they were just there to make up the numbers. Other than clemens, the rest are just fodder in all comps, and Clemens is only good for the odd upset before he then goes out.
On the Saturdaythe first "top player" and I use the term very loosely was Ian shite.
Of course he lost, and with it came his excuse of blaming the crowd.
Just fuck off White, you would have found some way to shit yourself with a camera present. , and lose the earring, you look like the mongo child of a pikey at a traveling circus.
Then came the roided up Vermin from Lilliput. He led Devon Peterson 5-1, and the guy who said if he plays his A-game no one in the World could live with him. I thought Mervyn King had first dibs on that pile of bullshit ? This is why he wins Knob of the Week, if you are going to spout shit like no one can beat you when you play your A game or how you are the best in the world, you do not go out next comp and lose early when you are 5-1 up in a race to 6, as it just makes you look like a complete spastic.
Regardless, Dancing Devon came from 5-1 and beat him, I laughed like the bastard I am at that.
On the Sunday, first up was the aforementioned Merv King and he royally cast aside the hunchback who looks like a Chernobyl resident 6-1. The war criminal Mensur Suljovic suffered the same fate at the hands of James Wade as he bowled out 6-1.
Right after that Krusty was sent out as he lost 6-3 to johnny Clayton, and sure enough the comms were all over this like flies on shit and out came a phrase we are now hearing in every fucking single competition, "Duzza will never get a better chance".
Yes Price, Wright, MVG, were out, but when did that make a blind difference, we are 19 months in to Durrants PDC career, and every single time he has had glorious opportunities to win a comp, he has found a way to fold, choke or fuck it up.
For years people who did not like James Wade would spout how Wade took advantage when Taylor went out, which is true, and it was held against him, as if it lessened his titles, despite him beating Taylor on his way to the Premier League and Masters titles....both secondary titles, but tv titles nonetheless.
Yet the same people who criticized Wade for jumping in and taking advantage of a weaker field with the loss of Taylor, are now making excuses when Durrant who should be doing the same and taking advantage of the weakened fields with the loss of MVG, Price, Krusty etc, and cannot see the double standards and hypocrisy.
If Durrant is as great as we are told, how come he has not won any televised comps ? There is no Taylor, MVG is at his worst in many years, others are on the slide like Wade, Ando is skipping events, White, Chizzy and Bellyboy are glorified jobbers, so why cannot he win ?
Or is it because I was right all along ? When Stephen Bunting joined the PDC and dwarfs in Rochdale felt he had stabbed the bdo in the back and some mental cripples actually thought he was a top 3 player in the World cos he won a Bob Potter tin cup, I said then he would be lucky to be in the top 16 after the 2 years were up, people laughed and dismissed me, because the thought of a swearing opinionated cunt like me being right would upset them, guess what I was right.
I said Durrant, if lucky would squeeze in to the top 10, but once the 2 years were up and he starts defending, which he does in a few months, he will level out. I know some people reading this, lack sufficient intelligence to grasp this is not me hating on the player, but mocking the hype surrounding the player. I think he is a good player, like Bunting, Cullen, White and many others around that level, but would be very surprised if he ever bothers the engravers for a top tv ranking title.
It was Gurney who dumped him out, which is depressing in itself, and soon after Devon sent Rob Dross out the gap. At this point Peterson who has being playing well for weeks looked like he would take some stopping.
In the quarters, Wade had his usual shit game after a fine performance and went out, Chizzy lost, what a shock, and Gurney went out shortly afterwards.
That left a final 4 of Devon, Ratajski, King and Clayton, and you could tell comms were not over enthusiastic about the line up bar Devon, as having a black player doing well would give them something to rim and act all woke.
I was happy with that line up, no Bellyboy to throw a strop, no robotic Durrant, no sour cunt Gurney, no cunts like MVG and Price who love to run their mouth and end up looking stupid.
Was delighted to see Devon win, not because he deserved it, but the better the guy does at his darts, the less likely we will get the guy on commentary as he is fucking abysmal. Remember this is the cunt who once declared he was good on comms, That is right he decided himself he was good. Odd really, as most people think he is shit. Still I rather watch him play on tv, than torture my ear drums, we already have Mardle, Mascum, Nicholson, Pikey, and others for that on comms.
I thought I would take a look at the BDO website, and laughed when I saw they still had the list of counties staying with the BDO up on their site. ...priceless.

As everyone is aware the Grand Prix which starts Tuesday,is being played at the Ricoh, and now the Winter Series, Grand Slam of Darts and the players championships are being moved there, along with that glorified exbo shit that is the Premier League playoffs.
Of course this has led to the usual PDC hating mushroom cunts having a whinge, just as they are having a whinge about the dates, not that I see any televised BDO events on the horizon.
Credit to the PDC who have not reduced the prize funds despite so many events not selling tickets due to covid. I think if the PDC reduced the prize fund for events like the Players championships final not many would complain, however the PDC seem to have had enough profits built up thanks to it being well run, to offset a lot of the current problems.
not like the BDO who could not pay out a quarter of their mickey mouse"World Pro" prize money....and that was BEFORE Covid.
As for the upcoming Grand Prix, a proper ranking tv Major, unlike the Premier League shit, and the World Series, the draw is out and looks very tasty. The 5 stand out games are:

Jose De Sousa v Devon Petersen
(5) Rob Cross v Gary Anderson
Dave Chisnall v Glen Durrant
(6) Nathan Aspinall v Gabriel Clemens
The most retarded comment so far concerning the draw was from that over rated cunt and shakey plumber Mark Webster who said he thinks Devon Peterson will win the grand Prix.
I am not if the mentally retarded spastic is saying this because Peterson is black and he wants to appear politically correct, or if he is another of these absolute stupid cunts in darts who thinks as soon as a person wins a minor comp , like the Eurotour event, or a Bob Potter cup they are suddenly "World Class".
As much as I don't like Hunchback or Vermin Price, I bet they wont play as bad in the Grand Prix, and whatever the outcome of their matches, will put in far more effort in to this than some Euro tour. Would I begrudge Devon ? No , just like I would not begrudge, Clemens, Aspinall, Ratajski, and a heap of others but I don't think he will be anywhere close.
Another PDC event making the news this week was the moving of the European championships, which is being moved to Oberhausen and will see some crowds attend. It is also a huge event for James Wade who will defending a 100k and looks set to drop out of the top ten, as Wade has been in the top 10 for over 13 years, not counting a brief period of a few weeks back around 2018.
Also on the slide looks to be Gary Anderson, which is hardly surprising how lazy a cunt he has become and does as much on the tour as Barney did. Bellyboy is defending 200k at the Worlds so hopefully he slides down to a position more worthy of a cunt that has won fuckall in the game. A joke seeing him ranked that high.
In fact with the Grand Prix, Grand Slam and PD finals coming up, there are a lot of players currently not in form defending major money and could make for a very exciting seedings for the Worlds. and an even stranger top 10 coming out of it.
2 weeks ago Matt Porter stated the World's would be taking place at Ally Pally regardless of crowds or not, but seems Barry Hearn has made a liar of him and said there is a possibility of it being moved.
we will wait and see.....roll on the Grand Prix, my favorite event after the Worlds, , you cannot beat live televised ranking darts.
