KNOB OF THE WEEK
It is no secret I have never considered the BDO to be a world championships since the split, where the top 16 players in the world left the BDO, this also included every single former world champion bar Leighton Rees who had since retired from the game. For me it was always the Annual Amateur Championships, and yes the game needs structure at the amateur level. These days I am not even sure its even the pinnacle of amateur darts as Modus Champion of Champions has as much relevance. Look how Luke Litler found his bearings in Modus, Even when the WDF was on last month, Modus had better averages, and even a 9 darter that same week.
All that said, Andy Baetens was heralded by the WDF as a "World Champion", and only the most brainwashed mushrooms would believe that nonsense, so this week when the PDC Q-schools kicked off, all the eyes of the mushrooms was on their so called World Champion.
After 2 days out of 4, Baetens has only garnered a solitary point and lies 59th....fifty ninth !
Right away the usual excuse came out, and I say usual because it is the same one trotted out each year and that is how "Q-school is a lottery".
I was told on a forum the year Scott Mitchell won his card he was not lucky, he won his card because he was "class" and when I asked why those others who supposedly were said to possess class failed at q-school I was told its a lottery.
Mushroom logic is so contradictory, if a vastly over rated bdo jobber fails its not because he is shit or over rated, but its simply "bad luck" in a "lottery", which suggest then if a player does earn a tour card then they are lucky in a lottery right ? Seems not so, turns out they are then class....go figure.
What does it say if the WDF Lakeshite winner cannot even beat former tourcard failures, deluded jobbers, old pub players etc in a Euro Q-School ? What chance has he got against the top players in the PDC ? He has 2 days left turn things around, if he succeeds, it will mean the WDF will be without their reigning Lakeshite champ next year, if he bombs and fails to win a card, he has to return to the WDF with his tail between his legs and the mushrooms are already seething as some have even blocked me the moment Baetens started losing knowing what would come, only proving how they are bothered.
There are even mushrooms who think some players deserve to be given a tour card. Any player could get a bad draw one day, or run in to a player having the performance of his life, but there are 4 days, and if you are not good enough over the 4 days you do not deserve anything but the ridicule that comes with it. Are we suppose to believe if a player bombs 4 days on the trot he was unlucky 4 times ? At what point do you accept that maybe the player simply is not good enough, or cannot handle the pressure etc.
Notice how quiet the PDC are about Pinocchio Fallon Sherrock lately ? They are more busy with their latest toy in the obese teenager Luke Littler, then history has shown that in her previous Q-school efforts where she has failed year atfer year after year, the PDC tend to go silent. Like Andy Baetens, she also has only earned a solitary point but lies in 41st place.
Should she "get lucky" , and fluke some wins in this "lottery", I personally think it would do her no favours, as a tour card holder playing on the main tour, she would probably miss a rake of munter series events, if she was still allowed play in them, which would cost her in the qualifying for TV events, and lets be honest, there is no fucking hope in hell she would qualify for the Grand Slam, Worlds etc via the main tour. So not winning a tour card where she can play the Munter Series do Modus etc, would probably be better for her.She can claim she did not want to win, and mushrooms can run with that excuse to deflect from the fact she simply is not good enough.

Christian Kist 9th...look likely he will do enough via the table to get a card where he can struggle again for 2 years before losing it again
The others looked fucked at the moment, and lets be honest outside of Baetens, the rest are not just old but total shit who cannot see, the game is up for them, go stink out Modus and the WDF.

What does it say when the first tour card winner this year was Steve Lennon, a solid if unspectacular player who only regained a card he did little with in 2 years previous. Oddly it was the success of Luke Littler that finally cost him his card, he managed to regain. Every year after Q-school I read how certain players claim they are going to make a mark, this year,the focus will be on a new player but it will be from a kid who did not need Q-school.
Meanwhile over in Modus, they dug up all the players who know they are not good enough for a tour card, like parasite Adams, all those who will whore themselves out for a few pound, like parasite Adams, and those with a hatred of the PDC like parasite Adams...unless of course its a free handout and the old prick will be there cap in hand begging for he PDC coin as the sad lonely divorced prick has zero pride or principles..They had 2 pub players from Northern Ireland, an alcoholic bull dyke, some unknown euro jobbers, and topped of with Andy Hamilton who not only paid for and entered Q-school, he qualified for the final stage, and then left to do Modus. What a cunt thing to do, as it cost the player below him a chance to play in the final 128. That player was Peter Gallacher. Does he think he can rock up on the last day Sunday and just do enough ?
Leighton Bennett, that former obnoxious little cunt of a kid is starting to play well again, maybe it the beer now he has turned 18....oh wait....alcohol is no longer a big thing in the PDC according to Twat Porter
In the end regardless of whoever gets a card, not one of them will be troubling the engravers, in fact there are some players in the worlds top 40 that will never be bothering an engraver this year.
You would think that the vast amount of Q-school failures would mean Modus would be spoiled for choice , but we all know the likes of Duff, Parasite Adams, and Pinocchio will continue to get undeserved invites.

The fact the PDC took back the tour card belonging to Corey Cadby for this year suggests he had no chance of getting a visa sorted for this year either. The dart fan in me misses him as he had immense talent, however his talent does not get him a bye of me as he is a scumbag cunt who rightfully should never get a visa with his criminal record. Yet week after week boat loads of men arrive in the UK, almost all unvetted, and no I.D, claiming to be trying to escape war. How many of them have criminal records ? It does seem crazy that Cadby would be refused entry,, but tens of thousands of immigrants almost all men, hardly any women, or children who pass through countless other countries that have no wars, but never settle there , but all come to the UK because of benefits. where they sponge of the tax payer and jump the queue ahead of British people on the housing lists without ever getting a proper criminal vetting can stay, but ban the guy who would be paying tax.
If you are going to block one criminal, then block them all.

Lastly now that this blog is back, all the missing Knob of the Weeks have been added, transferred from the other back up site, After the first week it was taken down, I just started a back up blog and forgot about this one, last week on a whim I contacted them and they restored it without question. I guess when a blog has page views in 7 figures, its no surprise.
So to all those that cry about me endlessly on forums I do not post on, or report my blog like hurt children, or moan about any spelling errors in a sad deflection tactic, but still read here or my back up blogs every week without fail, I want ye all to keep trying to pretend you are not bothered. Who knows, some day ye might convince yourselves, as ye are not fooling anyone else.
