KNOB OF THE WEEK
I have never been sexist when it comes to awarding Knob of the Week, both Men and Women have won it over the years and only fair and modern of me not to exclude a tranny, equality for all on this blog. So lets start of with this guy pretending to be a woman, who did an interview this week and spouted some ridiculous shit. One of his quotes was this
"Of course I hope that one day there will be a PDC Women's World Championship, but that might take a few years. It is especially positive that the PDC is very much working on taking women's darts to a higher level,"
Firstly the PDC don't give a fuck about a full munters world championships, and why should they ? Before some clown states how they held one before, they did for one year in the hope that Anastasia, a good looking girl would win, but instead it was won by an old frumpy yank and that was the end of that. Factor in how many other women refused to enter is it any wonder the PDC said fuck it.
Make no mistake, the PDC want to push certain individuals as "token players" where they could make brief appearances at major tv events, back then it was Anastasia, now its Pinocchio, when clearly Beau Greaves is a far superior player, even if Dan Dawson and others have tried hoodwink people with the blatant lie how Pinocchio, who has never won a tour card, nor even even won a munter world championships was "the best female player in the world".
Is it a coincidence when the frumpy yank won the title ad it was never held again ?
Is it a coincidence that Beau is not dyed blonde and skinny, yet Pinocchio gets the favouritism ?
Where was the PDC fawning over Ashton who won 4 World titles and the first woman to win a tour card...oh yeah, she was old and not a young skinny dyed blonde and the woke bullshit had not gathered steam at the time. Where was Ashton's push ?
Where was Stacy Bromberg's push ?
Why does Pinocchio get more attention and media push of Sky and the PDC than Beau Greaves ?
I think we all know the answer to that.
The PDC only want to push their token girl, and as for the tranny, he wont ever be that, not just because of biological reasons but he lacks any ability. He then followed up the quote with his gem.
"You also saw at the past Women's World Matchplay that there was a lot of interest in our tournament, which is particularly nice."
Maybe the hormone medication is fucking with his mind, but during the sold out Matchplay, the munters session was barely one quarter full, and most of them just turned up cos they were going to be around later for the evening session. If that event was held on its own and not piggybacking of a proper major there would have been even less there.
He also wants a PDC World Cup for the munters, lets be honest the Men's one is already dismal enough, boring, non ranking and meaningless, a munter one would be even worse.
Speaking of the World Championships, I see this week tickets for Ally Pally have sold out in record time. Terrible news for those mushrooms who would cry endlessly on forums how The PDC are cunts, Hearn is the Devil and how the "Bubble is gonna burst"......quarter of a century later and the PDC is as popular as it has ever been, whilst the BDO is dead, and the WDF may as well be.
PDC DEVELOPMENT TOUR
Luke Littler lost today in both Development tours , in the last 32 and last 8, but did enough to assure himself of a tour card for the next 2 years. Littler did not do enough to top the table as Van Veen was so dominant, but this is where I have an issue, as I don't believe tour card holders like Van Veen, Rafferty, Keane Barry, who reached a final on Friday and other card holders should be allowed enter as they have their own tour to enter and if they fail on that they can go back to the Dev tour if within age, or join the challenge tour if they lose their card.
I don't think Littler will do as well on the tour as many others think. He will no doubt hit a few of his high averages, but its one thing doing it over 4 legs in Modus but doing it over best of 11 in the PDC will be a lot harder, and lest not forget he hits a lot of sub 90 averages too, recently winning Modus with an 86 average, that wont pull up too many trees in the business end of the PDC, but regardless glad to see him there.
Sadly it is looking likely that Dutch cheating prick Wessel Nijman is getting the second tour card. That prick should have got a life time ban. I hope he gets battered on the main tour, on and off the oche.
MODUS
The main news this week was Darryl Pilgrim hit an average of 118 in his match which included a 9 darter and still lost the match.. His opponent averaged 18 points less and it shows that if you play well enough just on your own throw, a ton average can beat anything flung against you.
In his next game he hit a 122 average in his 4 leg match, and whilst it was a fantastic performance it has to be said it was just four legs. Many many PDC players have hit spells like this over 3 or 4 legs in longer format matches, and whilst not taking anything away from Pilgrim, averages over 110 in modus are rare as fuck, In Modus there have been hundreds of games won with averages in the 60s and 70s, so unless Pilgrim goes on to win the week it wont mean shit. I hope he does win the week as the rest of the field was poor again this week. In fact the best person on modus this week was not any player but Glen Durrant on the mic, he comes across really well, and I enjoy him and he is among the best in the game on the mic already, and that's a short list.
Lastly, news emerged earlier that Elon Musk is removing the "blocked" feature on twitter or X as he calls it now.
All those butt hurt soft pussy shower of cunts like Wayne Mardle, Paul Nicholson, The WSDT, and dozens of other accounts who I never engaged with in darts won't be able to stop me from seeing their tweets in future. How long before Mardle and others will be having a whine or posting "I am leaving twitter" posts in an effort to garner attention.
Of course Mardle and otherscould make his account private, and only visible to his followers, but I bet that wont suit him in his quest for attention.
