The stupidity of those in the BDO never ceases to amaze me, this week the new female referee in the BDO Kerrie Crompton took to facebook to have a whine, where she wrote
A little bit of food for thought....
To all the bdo bashers, to the people that criticise the bdo players, referees and officials.
Some of you expect us to be perfect, whether that be calling, marking, hitting constant ton plus averages or running everything like clockwork.
When you criticise a bdo players average on that stage and compare it to the pdc, or complain a referee or marker has made a mistake or 2, you forget something....
What you are comparing it to, is something that has hundreds of millions of pounds invested into it every year.
You are comparing players that can spend 8 hours a day practising their darts to be at the top of the game...
Callers that are working for the vast majority of the year doing exactly that...calling...
To people who do a normal full time job, and only get their practise and experience as and when they can inbetween full time jobs and families.

I myself only get my experience calling games as when required which is mainly my county games, and if I go to my local league.
I dare say that if bdo players could spend all their time practising instead of also having to work, and if mc's could call high profile games every week, we would all be at the top of our game, but we cant, as we have other responsibilities.
So the next time you go to criticise that players average, or that callers shouting, just bear in mind....we are not professionals.
We do not do this for a living (or most of us dont anyway) but at least we are up there having a go and trying our best.
So support us, dont criticise us for having the guts to step out our comfort zones, to give something that we love to do a good go.
I laughed at how she thinks everyone in the PDC is doing 8 hours a day practice, and that everyone in the PDC is a full time player, which is clearly not true.
I get she is new and wants to put on this front of "loyalty" as that is brainwashed in to these people, and she is a follower of me on twitter but she should think before running her mouth making ridiculous comments like those.
The best part was the part where she said "we are not professionals....yet on her own twitter page she maintains she is a professional.

Kerrie I suggest you edit your twitter profile then.
I will say this though, , her spelling and especially her using the proper English way of spelling words like criticise and practising , as opposed to that American way is good to see and shows at least one person in the bdo has some form of education.. Maybe she could give Des and Bo Selecta some lessons in spelling.
What is a crocadile ?

Last Sunday I put on the "live stream" for the British open.

It was absolutely embarrassing, watching the clown and old age pensioner Rab Butler hobble around an awful looking stage, in front of a pathetic crowd. It was so bad even I almost felt sorry for them.
I laughed when beavis lookalike Wesley Harms who looked like a pikey with all his gold chains was introduced as the number one player in the world....let that sink in, the #1 player in the world he was called. I giggled like a cunt at the lunacy of that claim.
The over rated dutch pub player was lucky to win his semi final after a PDC youth player, missed match darts to beat Harms and reach the final. The commentating team which consisted of,an annoying scouser, like all scousers, and some northern simpleton in love with the sound of his own voice started complaining about a guy who mocks the BDO and calls the ladies of the BDO "Munters"....I wonder who he was speaking about.?  I always laugh at the people who claim people do not read here but know everything I write on here.

Recently I have read countless reports of the kid Leighton Bennett and his ability, his attitude seems to be a talking point. This week Martin Adams even said "he has got to have a look at his attitude, cos sometimes when he loses, his attitude is not good, and he has to work on that for sure, you have to lose with grace and dignity".
This came after he lost last weekend, and in a supposed hissy fit did not even shake hands after the match. and not the first time this happened either.
Meanwhile in the PDC/JDC you have another teenager in Keane Barry, who in my opinion is even better, and who reached the final of the Tom Kirby Irish Matchplay, which was not a youth event,  and will play that final during the Grand Prix of Darts for a spot at Ally Pally.
He played this week in the JDC World Cup and not only won the world Cup singles event, did so with a ton plus average in the final, and then followed that up with reaching the final of the JDC World Championship , where he will play Adam Gawlas in the final at Ally Pally, so possible he could be playing twice at Ally Pally.
You don't see Keane Barry throw a strop, or act like a maggot or refuse to shake hands with players or officials ,because he carries himself with more class, something Leighton could do with learning.
And before any dumb fuck bdo simpleton cunt has a whine how I am moaning about Leighton's attitude,or I am having a go at a kid remember I am quoting Martin Adams words. You only have to read the darts forums to see what others say and think of his attitude, and believe me, its not good.

The WDF World Cup in Romania starts on October 7th.
England decided to take part this year. Always makes me laugh the "countries" that take part, especially those globally recognized nations like Jersey, Isle of Man and Catalonia. How long before the waiter decides that Lincoln is its own country.
Then there is Paul Lim, who will be at Ally Pally this coming World championships.
Here is a guy born in the country Singapore, but in the WDF  first represented Papau New Guinea, then for the BDO Lakeshite represented USA, after that he represented Singapore at Ally Pally back in 2017, and now the fucker is representing Hong Kong in the WDF World Cup, before he goes to Ally Pally where he will have the Singapore flag next to his name. How many times can a player change his nationality ?
If an English player entered the European qualifiers for the euro tour for example he would not be allowed due to his nationality, you simply cannot just change it to enter competitions.
That said Lim has always represented Singapore in the PDC, but has represented 3 other countries in the WDF/BDO
And I thought it was bad when sky had Krusty as an English player and then became a Scottish player.

----------
Seen a report that there may be a boycott by some bdo players of the Masters due changes in the qualifying criteria.
Obviously if true, then these so called top players in the bdo ( did not realize they had any) have zero faith in their own ability if they are sulking and want to pull out.
I saw some excuses how the players are annoyed as the players are only "thinking of their sponsors" , so pulling out of the event is hardly going to solve that problem is it then ?
I reckon none will pull out and it is a load of whining but the players will enter, what else are they going to do ?
Even if the players pull out, think of the bus fare the players will save, which is about equal to what they could won anyway with the pittance on offer.

Was delighted to see Callan Rydz beat Barney last weekend in the Players championships, which ended any hope of Barney qualifying for the Grand Prix, He wont be missed.

This weekend the Euro Tour comes from Gibraltar. This is the week the BDO Mushrooms come out of hiding to slate the crowds at this event, which is usually poor, as if somehow one poorly attended event a year somehow is the same as almost every bdo event only getting about 20 fans which are all members of the players family, a down syndrome brummie and a Belgian pensioner with mental illness. They also choose to ignore, that the Gibraltar government pays towards the event, something the bdo would never have the luxury of.

Tonight Thornton was absolutely atrocious in his match with some local Gib Jobber. The Thorn's game has gone to shit in recent times, which is sad, his run  to winning the UK Open years back was one of the best I ever saw with the quality of people he beat on his way to winning the title.
Also beat MVG in a proper ranking PDC Major.
Tonight Thornton was 4-0 averaging 69, his opponent was equally as shit, Thornton then won 4 legs on the trot, with his average up to 76 to level the game. Thornton goes 5-4 down and then starts to moan about the crowd using them as an excuse for his shit performance in a game where 47 doubles were missed by the players.
The Gib jobber won the game when he broke Thorntons throw with a 31 dart leg...thirty fucking one.
That leg would destroy most averages, but they were already utter shit prior to that. I expected better from Thornton, his performance stank, and his attiude stank.

2 players who are playing well lately in the PDC and racking up a load of ton plus averages are Ryan Joyce and Jose de Sousa, and today both did a ton plus average, and both missed double 12 for nine darters. Sets up a very tasty weekend of darts.

And lastly, week in week out I am fucking sick to the teeth of Dan Dawson, Paul Nicholson and others rimming the hole of Glen Durrant, and Jamie Hughes as if they are the besrt in the world because what they did in the mickey mouse joke that is the bdo. How many PDC majors have these players won ?
I will tell you ZERO.
Last weekend Durrant's loss to Mensur in the players championships was the 40th different player Durrant lost to in PDC competition, and a heap of them players like Bellyboy, Ian White, Gerwyn Price and Joe Cullen have multiple victories over Glen. This is hardly the achievements of one of the best in the World as we are told he is, based solely on him winning events in the abysmal BDO.
As for Hughes, his 85 average was not good enough and he got beat by Richie Edhouse, another of my followers on twitter.
Durrant and Hughes are decent players, but they have won nothing of note, and don't give me that bullshit that Lakeshite counts,, as you will be telling me next Christian Kist was one of the best in the World.
The best in the World are those that actually win PDC major ranking events, and that list is not that long. Likewise, I am sick of being told Bellyboy, Chizzy etc are among the best in the World, when they have won fuckall of note either, and are nothing but the modern day versions of Chris Mason, Ronnie Baxter, Wayne Mardle, and Terry Jenkins.
