Another week and another fiasco in this side of the code.
This is a Cat A comp so the rules state it should have been televised.
Just as well due to all the commotion
On the saturday night a woman was assaulted , but the majority of the security then disappeared due to them having no official license.
In the doubles mens event , one team were due to go through due to their opponents being timed out, however they were called to the control desk and told they would be playing a "new pair" that was ushered into the draw.
The original pair complained and then they were threatened with elimination before the organisers decided to place the "new pair" in another match instead which their new opponents never complained.
One female player turned up 20 minutes late for her match on saturday and was allowed play, this while darryl fitton was not allowed play.
due to the sudden disappearance of the so called security the bar was then shut at 8 o clock.
All this for players who hoped to make 20 quid for reaching the last 64 oe 40 quid for a last 32 place.
A complete joke as usual.
