Gibraltarian players have always entered the Torremelinos open, but now in some "deal" organised by Des and the hotel all players must now stay in a hotel and pay a further 30 quid a day to be able to enter the comp area, which comes to a total of £300 quid for the 3 days, and that is not counting the entry fee.
Anyone who enters will need to win the comp to make a profit such is the pathetic money.

What are those comments liable for ? This is the uneducated liar people in the BDO heralded as a business genius. The man who has lost almost half a million quid since he took over. Alienated orgs and companies in Holland , Spain, Luxembourg and Gibraltar. Had the WDF take back their official "world title" of them. This is devastating news, and I must admit I missed this when I downloaded the accounts, so unless the BDO has replaced the money they transferred there is no money to pay the BICC prize money, if they haven't repaid the monies then it indicates there is no money to pay it, with no finance coming into the company or at least no notification from the BDO Board that they have monies potentially available to replace this. So it looks like the cash at the bank of £248,000 in May plus the £100,000 from Limited has gone in the last 9 months. Outstanding invoices, current contract liabilities God only knows where we are, one thing is for certain, this needs addressing immediate with a meeting with the books available, current invoices brought along and contracts with defined companies also available to find out the current state of affairs as of today 2nd March, 2020. So that the company can stop hemorrhaging any more money, and what can be saved "if anything" is done now. I think like many people the figures haven't added up for a long time, but to even contemplate that several years ago we had £700,000+ in the bank a property in London, to find we have hit rock bottom and in a position we will never be able to recover from or indeed find ourselves back to that in the future if there is any sort of future, is as I said devastating after 45 years in the BDO.

Last weekend saw the first Euro tour of the year, and was delighted to see the slump by the dutch hunchback continue as he slumped to a defeat to Bellyboy. Of course it was no surprise that despite how well the Andy Fordham lookalike played he would choke in a final, goes without saying.
Speaking of Andy Fordham, he was taken into hospital again this week. Mervyn King beat Glen Durrant, and became the 50th different player to beat Glen in PDC competition, and a heap of them had multiple victories over Glen. The event was won by Vermin Price.
So this week when the Premier League kicked of Price was a huge favorite to beat Glen Durrant. Price already had 6 victories over Durrant, so when Glen beat Price, and deservedly too, I was delighted to see Glen rip in to Mardle, and Paul Nicholson who all claimed Price was a banker and a cert to win. Durrant really showed them up and what those so called experts know..
The night opened with Rob Dross and Gurney and was a good watch. Aspinall played great and almost averaged a 100 but was trounced as Krusty averaged 110. Luke Humphries...yes that "kid" became the first challenger in the PL to pick up a win after he beat an awful Gary Anderson.
Gary Anderson after missing last weekends euro Tour has now slipped down to the world #7, and this weekend defends 70k from winning the UK open, and will be defending 115k come the matchplay, so expect the sulky moody Ando to freefall out of the top ten.
Last up in the PL was Bellyboy against hunchback and amazingly Smith led 6-1 and could have won 7-0, but typical smith he had to let nerves play a part and when MVG made it 6-4 it looked like another choke job was on the cards, but thankfully he got the win. It makes the glorified exbo a little more interesting.
Today saw the start of the UK Open. checkout of the day probably went to Martin Atkins, who at 5-5 with that dutch prick Wesley Harms, saw Atkins have 138 left with Harms on a double for the match. Atkins took the 138 and the win, and in the draw got a bye. That checkout was worth thousands to him., plus made me laugh as the deluded cunt Harms got turfed out. Atkins was one of 8 players that started in round one, and made it to the fourth round.
The others being Rhys Hayden, Lewis Williams, Alan Tabern, Scott Waites, William Borland, Bradley Brooks and Kyle McKinstry with Bradley and Kyle drawing each other in the last 64.
The draw for the last 64 also saw Peter Wright get Glen Durrant and MVG draw Nathan Aspinall. It was a great night of darts, and on the subject of ITV. I will give them credit as they did not go overboard like SKY TV does on the munters. Yes Fallon Sheerluck got a game on the main stage but they did not put Lisa Ashton on, and when Fallon lost as did Lisa when there was no crowd booing their opponents this time, ITV got on with things and did not bore the living shit out of us with constant mentions of them, then ITV go and spoil things by selecting their games for the main stage on Saturday afternoon.
White versus Wright and Smith versus Cross I get, as all 4 are top ten players playing each other,but fuck them, we see that every week in the PL and an argument could be made for Dobey and Shitlock, but MVG against Lowe ? Seriously, who the fuck wants to watch that one sided affair ?
In fact I rather watch almost any game than an MVG procession. If this truly is the FA Cup of darts, then show more matches that do not have a single player that plays in the Premier League and focus on the players further down the rankings. So what if we dont see MVG, Wright, etc.
We saw them Thursday night in the PL we saw them Friday on the main stage, and now we get to see them Saturday, and again next Thursday. Fuck that, lets see someone different for a change. Personally I rather see these 3 games on the main stage, each has no PL player in them.

Also on the topic of ITV, seems a few people on social media were up in arms over Chris Mason using the word Spacker on twitter, with some snowflakes demanding ITV be contacted and how he should lose his job.
