The Greatest Show on Earth.
Saturday: The afternoon session did look grim on paper in comparison to the previous nights session. First up was Darius Labanauskaus who I always find a boring watch against Matthew Edgar who is simply not good, and if I never saw him on tv again it would be too soon. Darius did play well standard wise, and no doubt deserved the win and the quality was better than expected. The second game between the Japanese lad Yamada and Meikle, another left handed Dutchie, was a great watch for the first couple of sets but the standard soon dropped, but overall a better game than expected. I missed the next game between Luke Woodlouse and Paul Lim. If I never saw Paul Lim again it would not bother me either, getting fed up of this nostalgia shit every year, and we wont be seeing him again for another year, unless its some World Series. The averages suggest it was a great standard for a first round game. Last one up for the session was Fluke Humphries and Jermaine Wattimena, and to be honest not a fan of either especially Wattimena as he is a miserable cunt like a lot of Dutch people who is another excuse making cunt like that time he accused Mensur of cheating. The first set was won by Wattimena with ease, but the second set saw Humphries win the set with 3 legs in just 35 darts and a set average of 116. To be fair it was a great pace to the game and a better watch than I expected. Wattimena took the third set with ease and looked like it was curtains for Fluke but he came back strong to take the fourth set to take it to a final set. The final set reached 2 legs a piece with both players averaging 106 for the set, it set up the first tie breaker of the comp. At 4 legs a piece in the tie break Wattimena broke with a 98 with 2 double tops to throw for the match, but Fluke hits a 160, 140, and 96 checkout for a final leg decider and bull off for the throw, which Fluke Humphries won and held throw in a dramatic leg for the win. without doubt the game of the championship up to that point.Last week I mentioned how comms was the main area the PDC seem to be going backwards, well the spotting in recent events is equally as bad, and was evident again on the Friday and Saturday, they need to get their act together.
The evening session kicked with Mark McGeeney the player who had mushrooms seething with his many comments about the PDC and how Mark said he felt although he was the bdo #1 he always felt like the world #129 because he was not part of the PDC, plus other comments how the PDC was superior to the BDO, all of which are true but he was honest to admit. He comes across as a decent lad as well in interviews, he was up against some Canadian moosefucker called Matt Campbell. McGeeney won the first set with a 104 average, and it was a case of McGeeney going off the boil rather than the snow monkey getting better. Glad McGeeney won.
Up next was an interview with Jamie Hughes, and I know the Birmingham accent makes everyone sound like a total fucking mongo, but listening to Hughes it sounded like his chromosome count was higher than his IQ count. That said wanted him to win as he at least is a better watch than Zoran who is the epitome of a euro jobber. After the first set which was won by Lerchbacher who averaged 10 points less than Hughes it looked it had 5 sets written all over it. As usual with that stupid cunt Mardle on comms the prick continued his arse kissing of ex bdo players. He rims Hughes, Durrant etc, so much so I think he might be looking for a job in the BDO, maybe Des the liars one after he "resigns" like he said he would. The game itself had me bored senseless by the third set, and the crowd had little interest as they were waiting for the sweaty postman to pollute the oche. Of course after Mardle tried to bullshit how Hughes was "world class" his game started to go to shit proving what Mardle knows as Zoran went 2-1 up in sets. Of course as soon as Zoran went to shit and Hughes leveled the match at 2 sets each Mardle started hyping Hughes again calling a double tops by Hughes the best shot of the tournament. Try tell me Mardle is not a biased cunt. With Zoran leading 1-0 in the final set, Zoran hits a 174 to set up a break, and Mardle went silent and did not even acknowledge it, the crowd were completely silent. After Zoran won the leg, Mardle still refused to acknowledge it. Mardle is some fucking asshole as you could hear the joy in his voice as Zoran missed 8 match darts.
As I said earlier I initially wanted Hughes to win, but was glad Hughes lost as I could not tolerate another game with Mardle rimming the hole of the braindead brummie. Mardle has made this fantastic competition unbearable to listen to when he is on comms.
Next up was the self confessed drug cheat, and lazy bastard Barney against Darin young. Every session so far had a left hander and each one of them lost, So I was hoping this would break the streak, as the faster the sweaty ex postman goes out the better, but it was unlikely and we would get the barney retirement crap dominating the event until the cunt finally gets fucked out. When Darin took the first set the crowd was quiet as it was evident who they all wanted to win, but the opposite seemed to be the case on forums as the majority of people were hoping that Young's good first set performance would continue and we would all be rid of the cunt. Young went to shit in the second set and had hoped if at least Barney would win, he would at least be made to work for it and sure enough Young was strong enough in the third set on his own throw to retake the lead, which made the game far more interesting. When Darin hit a 160 checkout to break in the fourth set, the crowd sounded as pissed off as Mardle when Hughes lost. When Darin Young won, despite the crowd booing and trying to put the Yank off, Barney stormed off the stage, Not even a thank you to the fans who supported the lazy bastard over the years.
He just left the stage in a hurry. So much for hanging around to thank the players who supported that lazy cunt of the years. Good riddance to him, the most over rated player in the history of the game and dont give me that 5 times world champion shit, bdo mickey mouse comps don't mean anything. A guy that did not win a ranking tv major in 13 years...yes 13 years. A guy that got undeserved and unwarranted pl spot year after year. A proven liar and self confessed drug cheat. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. I would not feel the same way if the player of 2007 was the one retiring, but it was a freeloader of over a decade bowing out with a whimper. As for his interview, when we were all suppose to feel pity, I just laughed. He was getting no pity or sympathy of me. In Taylors retirement year he lost in the Final of the World championships averaging over a 102, Barney went out first round to Darin Young, and Barney had the fucking nerve to complain weeks ago how he was not treated like Taylor. What a egotistical prick. Fuck off and do your exbos. I read that the dutch channel was not showing Cross and TinTin the Orphan as they were concentrating on Barney and his career in darts. If they showed a highlight package of his last decade it would last about 4 minutes. Seemingly Barney said on Dutch Tv

Meanwhile on a dying forum, a moderator was boasting how they had 518 guests on line and not a single one of them made a solitary post during the entirety of the Barney game. Shows how much those members gave a fuck about Barney losing. Barneys defeat was not only his last game on tv in the PDC (supposedly) it was his last match of the decade, and his attitude, performance and ego summed up that of the entire decade in a nutshell, pathetic. Lastly on the Darin young win, one thing I forgot to mention....where was the Darin young interview ? Totally disrespectful that he was ignored like that in favor of a pathetic Dutch over rated egomaniac.
The last game of the night was as said Rob Dross against the Belgian Orphan, with Tin Tin going 2 sets up, and Cross who was defending 400k at this comp in serious trouble. Cross won the first leg of the match, and then lost the next 8 and was 2 sets down and 2 legs down, you could hear Mardle getting upset again that Barney was out and Cross was on his way out. Cross's defeat meant he set a new record for the most money to not be defended. He got £15k for his second defeat, a net loss of £385k. What a glorious night of darts.
Sunday : The line up for the Afternoon and Evening sessions was certainly one for the purists, and would take a miracle to come close to the drama of the night previous. The first match of the Sunday afternoon session I saw live was the lanky Corkonian Teehan against Ross Smith. As most people know, I dont give a flying fuck where a player comes from, either I like him or I don't. It was hard to imagine that Ross Smith is the same player that performed so well a while back to beat MVG. The Cork lad has a throw, stance, and facial expression like that of a special needs fucker and thankfully Rod Harrington was on comms and the quality of darts in the first set made it a decent watch, but the standard dropped off but a good result for Irish darts and the kid himself but Ross Smith will be sick by his performance as he threw away a lot of legs he should have won.
Next Up was Brendan Dolan against Nitin Kumar. Nitin is the ideal name for someone at the bdo, as that is what most of the old farts did in the crowd. As for the game, it was the first game on paper that looked like a formality. Dolan was hardly impressive but did what he did at the right times, Nitin was not that bad but it was not good enough. Next up for me was Ian White and Darius Labanauskaus, which would have to be a decent standard to keep me interested in these 2 charisma void boring fuckers. White started well and was averaging 15 points more than Darius but still lost the set, but White maintained his 100 plus average and levelled the match , and I felt if he continued this form would run out the match the winner easily enough, but this is Ian White, and its on TV, and sure enough with White in pole position in the third set blew it, and Darius won the set. The comms acted shocked the White was in trouble in a match on TV. Speak about insulting the viewers intelligence.It was live on TV so anyone really surprised White lost ? Was it really a shock ?
In last weeks blog I spoke about the "experts" of Mason, Mardle etc saying Wade and Mensur should be left out of the Premier League, and who should be the certainties, and among those "certainties" were Cross and White who were both dumped out early. White surely has blown any chance he had for the Premier League now. The back tracking by the experts calling for White in the Premier League was priceless. Mardle said this year would be a good one for the seeds.....the guy is a utter spastic.
Then I got around to watching the first game of the session that I missed between Kyle Anderson and Xiao Zong. It was a game where Kyle scored well but struggled to finished where he missed a total of 32 darts at a double, while his opponent failed to score well but took the chances Anderson gave him. In the end watched most of it on fast forward only stopping at the crucial points in the sets as the only stream of it I found was in dutch, which is still better than listening to Mardle. Kyle came from 2-0 down in sets to win the match, and he was lucky, as he wont get away with another performance like that. Zong averaged 97 and 90 in the first 2 sets, but in the 3 sets he then lost averaged under 78 in all of them.
The evening session started with Jose Justiscia against Aaron Monk. I was hoping for a Jose win, as that fucker Monk irritates the living shit out of me. He was, is, and will always be to me the little faggot kid crying his eyes out every year on tv as he watched his useless father with his goldfish mouth get his arse raped on the piss soaked floorboards of bobs hotel every January. Aaron can do the swagger, take the steroids, do the weights, but it wont change a thing, he will always be the whiny little shit, and aint fooling anyone, so was pleased Justicia took the first set but surely the former Youth World Champ Monk would put up a fight ? No chance, he was abysmal, and deservedly lost, and its not like Justicia was great by any means. Think Monk also had the lowest average of the comp up to that point. Good riddance, stick to prancing about leisure centres with your giant headphones on walking like pigeon.
So after that we got Andy Boulton against Danny Baggish, who I have seen on a couple of CDC events and has a smooth throwing action and while one of the top players in a good few yank comps I was not expecting much from this. Rod Harrington started his usual "wasted" scores bullshit, as if players were limited to only a certain number of 140s and maximums and you could not exceed your quota. When Boulton came from 2 legs down to win the first set it looked like it was a formality but the Yank held his throw well enough to level it in sets, it soon became the type of game the bdo scum would refer to as a "classic", the sort of game they love. Where 2 useless fuckers, with shit averages go the distance, and this went the full entire 20 legs of the first 4 sets. The only positive I could say about the game was that in terms of growing the game globally, it was better the Yank won, as an Andy Boulton win would do fuckall. Nathan Aspinall has basically a bye next round.
The PC bollix was in full flow by the time the panel were kissing the hole of Suzuki for her match with the dopey looking cunt Richardson. Why are the PDC kissing the hole of Suzuki ? Is it because she is a woman ? I thought we were all equal and the women are as good as the men....make up yer minds. If these PC cunts truly believe in equality, then why is a women getting all this attention ? Surely if she is as good as the men, then she should be treated the same. If they are equal why did Richardson the droopy cunt not get hyped ? That said, that National Front type of racist mongo looking droopy bastard Richardson with his Engerlund bullshit, and his poppies on his shirt for dead terrorists would no doubt have the support of all the UKIP, EDL, NF type of fan as we know how they hate foreigners. Would Suzuki have the "capacity" to win this or would the droopy looking cunt "throttle" her ?.
The Sunday session was the worst session of the entire comp at this stage, coming after the dramatic night before. When the Jap hit a great 151 and Mardle was as turned on as Gary Glitter in Toys'R'Us I decided to take the dog for a walk rather than watch Suzuki who was being rimmed by Mardle, take on a down syndrome cunt who wears poppies in support of a terrorist organisation. Fuck that. I got home in time to see the score at 1-0 in legs to Suzuki in the 5th set.
Now I like Suzuki, not because she is a women player, but because she seems a decent person, but sadly like Jamie Hughes another player I wanted to win, I ended up being thankful that they lost due to the actions of that cunt Mardle. I did not want to go through all that arse kissing again in the next round. Thunder thighs Turner also went silent after she lost, which was another bonus. The crowd were fully behind Suzuki and showed great respect at the start the game supposedly, but what I saw of the match they booed Richardson. Like the Barney Young game, the loser got the preferential treatment, and the interview, while the winner got none, tell me again there is no favoritism in this comp. Not once did the ref ask the crowd for order. not once did the comms acknowledge the booing, they pretended it never happened.
Last up for the night was Bellyboy against Luke Woodlouse, and Bellyboy another of those seeds that Mardle said was a cert for the Premier League, and the first set was atrocious by Bellyboy and the second was even worse as he went 2-0 down in sets. Smith is the #4 in the world without ever winning anything of note, all that is wrong with the ranking system. Luke Woodlouse missed 6 match darts to send the fat mess packing, but Smith being the over rated fuck he is still fucked it and Luke won it with his 7th match dart. It also meant Luke most likely saved his tourcard as well. So White. Cross and Bellyboy all out first round, the players the "experts" claimed were certainties for the PL. Shows what they know.
Monday : Steve Lennon against Callum Spaz, and whilst Lennon would have been favorite, the truth is Lennon has been utter shit for most of the year, so no surprise it went the full distance, and only because it went it the distance it made it more interesting than it should. The last leg in the decider made it a great end, but in general was a poor match. That said go back a few years ago and a first round match like this would have been a great match, so shows how the standard is so high now. Callum Spaz is an annoying watch, but Lennon is a boring watch and despite him missing 2 match darts the result makes little difference as I think Rydz will lose next round.
After that we had Willie who talks a great game, but his performance was hardly inspiring, but he was playing a jobber and won with ease, and his interview afterwards was something hilarious, he spoke like someone who has won a heap of shit in his career, and how whatever Price throws at him he will throw back and cut him. That will be fantastic if it happens but seriously doubt it will happen. I do like O Connor, but his form is totally erratic.
Up next was the so called fastest player in darts in the elongated dutch version of Mervyn King against the 17 year old Keane Barry. The first set went the 5 legs and seemed to me as the fatest 5 leg set of the World champs, These fuckers were not hanging around which made for a better viewing, and as much as I slate Vinnie, I would rather watch him than some slow prick like Justin Pipe, the five legs took 5 minutes. The second set was as fast and credit to the tulip picking elongated dutch string of misery he took no prisoners and won the second set and the game looked over. Comms were saying how Keane Barry was probably throwing too quick but I agreed with John Part, that's his game and altering it could change his game. The game finished 3-0 in what seemed like no time, and whilst Keane Barry was battered 3-0 it was a decent performance from the kid. As for Vinnie, he is just there to make up the numbers and as soon as he plays Chizzy, the Merv king theatrics and back spasms will be in full flow.
Last up was Ando against Dolan, and the first set was dour stuff,Ando won it 3-0 not because he was great but because Dolan was shit. Ando averaged 79 in the first set, but soon upped it and by the third set was averaging 111 in that set. It finished 3-0, the third consecutive game that night to finish with that scoreline. In a way I was happy it finished early as we had a week of double sessions coming up and the matches were hardly top quality.The night finished up with Mardle claiming Tuesday was "all about Fallon"...what a fucking asshole. I am sure the other 15 men that play on Tueday would disagree. Prick
Tuesday : The line up was as bad as sundays on paper, so was hoping there would be a few pleasant surprises. First on the Oche was the scruffy krusty looking cheat Ryan Searle against Robbie King from down under. King took the first set due to how shit Searle was on doubles, but Searle sorted it during the break and ran off the next set with ease and led 2-0 in the 3rd set but went to shit again and allowed King who was poor to take advantage and win a second set he was more than second best in. This had 5 sets written all over it as well and so it went. In between all the poor legs was some quality with maximums in double figures, and some great checkouts including a 170. It went the 5 sets, and to a last leg decider which lacked quality but was dramatic. In the end the cheat Searle winning was the best result as he was the heavier scorer and better player and would have averaged higher only for his 36 missed doubles. Had he been even slightly better on doubles King would have got nowhere near him. At this point the comp had produced 180 maximums. Following that we got Illagan against Reyes, 2 useless foreigners the crowd did not care about in a poor match and add in the token munter on comms for pc reasons and the useless Mardle, it made this match about as welcome as a pig on the steps of a synagogue. Mardle the cunt tried to make out the dismal quality was "tension". The Filipino took the opening set, and by that time I had enough of that match and when I returned it was Reyes throwing to level the match 2-2 in sets. So a decider followed and the crowd seemed far more interested, with Reyes winning the match. Up next was a Filipino against an Austrian, and if I said one looked like a ladyboy you would presume it was the filipino, but alas no, it was the Austrian jobber from the RJ Litter who was 2-0 down in sets in short time and thankfully it ended in 3 sets not 5 as it was shit. The final game between Lerchbacher and Ratajski promised much but started woefully and Zoran took the first set, but when the Pole levelled the match in sets there only looked one winner and Ratajski upped his game significantly in the final sets. Overall it was a poor session and possibly the worst session standard wide for me up to that point, and the evening session did not look great on paper.
The evening session started with one of my twitter followers Richie Edhouse against Boris Kolstov with Edhouse taking the first set with some fine darts, although those wobbly darts are annoying. It was a better quality game than I expected and glad for Richie, who now plays James Wade, and would not mind seeing him beat Wade, as it might be the kick in the Wade needs to sort out his 2020. The second match of the evening session saw Damon Heta and Jose de Sousa squaring off, and thought that De Sousa would win this with ease, but De sousa was nowhere near the player that won 2 players championships this year, and Heta deserved the win and played decent and I doubt he will be a match for Glen Durrant in the next round. We were then told over and over how Sherrock against a development tour player was the "main event". They said it continually, over and over thinking people would swallow that horseshit. The political correctness and sucking up was beyond a joke.
Again I ask if we are all equal and the women are as good as the men why the preferential treatment ? I laughed like a cunt when in one of the many many interviews they asked Sherrock if she could win the whole event. What a fucking ridiculous question. As one member on a forum said Evetts looks like a cruel experiment with Chris Evans DNA, which I nicked , well he was expected to win, and the crowd was a disgrace again with the booing. Imagine if the crowd booed the women like that, imagine the uproar ? It was a great watch, but the crowd were a bloody disgrace. The comms acted like the booing was not happening and not once did the ref ask for the best of order in the first 4 sets....took until the 5th set before the ref opened his trap.I did not begrudge Fallon's win, but lets be honest here the only reason Suzuki and Sherrock were in this comp was because of the sex they were born. How can this be an event for men and women when the women have their own qualifiers ? if you want true equality, have the women in the qualifiers with the men, but that would true equality but we could not have that. The first 2 sets were a great standard but the standard dropped drastically after that but it was still great viewing, and if you put aside all the hype, the averages in the final sets were in the 80s and they wont trouble Mensur next round in my opinion
Fair play to Sherrock, but the favoritism, comms ignoring of the disgraceful crowd, the ref refusing to ask for order until the end of the 5th set and the blatant bias took from her win, and who in their right mind thought having her aul fella give an interview was a good thing ? Jesus fucking Christ, he was less coherent than Barney in his interview. I laughed like a cunt throughout it.
The result of the game showed why the PDC are successful and the bdo are a bunch on bumbling idiots. Uncle Barry used a bdo player to gain world wide attention for the PDC. It made all the main news stories, including the BBC, trending #1 on twitter and not a peep from the BDO.
They were too busy advertising the Lincolnshire open for a total prizefund of 800 quid. Speaking of money Fallon was now assured of £15k, that is more than what most bdo men earn in a fucking entire year.In fact it will be more than what she would get for winning the munters mickey mouse event in the Indigo...if it goes ahead that is.Uncle Barry using the bdo players to fill the pdc coffers is priceless.
By the time the last game got going and Darin Young went one set up against De Zwaan all the ignorant piss heads started to leave, which meant this time the crowd might be more respectful to Young who was treated like shit against Barney, and Young blew it. He failed to take advantage of De Zwaan chucking shit and paifdd the ultimate price. Still Daddy Cool will always be cool to me for dumping out Barney. The broadcast finished with that squinty eyed cunt Clark still rimming Sherrock. Do these people not realize that too much of that will only turn people against her cos they will be sick of the same shit from sky and she deserves better.
Wednesday : I watched this entire session when I got home at 5 o clock and skipped all the post and pre match gossip, adverts, walk ons etc, probably all for the best as I found out later it was all bullshit and hype of Fallon's win, which I do understand to a point, but I personally got the message the first time, it was almost getting to the point where I was annoyed she won, not for Fallon's sake but if only for them to shut up about it, how many times can you tell the viewer she won, the first match of Muelenkamp against Robb was as dull as it looked on paper, no surprise that Ron strolled through this although Robb put up some fight in the last set leading 2-0 in legs before succumbing 3-0 in sets. Muelenkamp played decent enough and did what was needed without really being too pushed. Next Up Asada and Mansell I watched at x8 speed and even then Mansell seemed to be no quicker, and had no desire to spend any more time on this recorded match than I had to, and Mansell scored poorly and his finishing was even worse and when I checked the averages afterwards I was surprised Mansell averaged in the low 80s, it seemed far worse. Again, thankfully this was over quick and meant at this rate I would be on target to have all the afternoon session finished on time for the evening session live. Following those 2 boring 3-0 wins was Harry Ward against Madars Razma and another for the purists. Ward has that 1980s darts player look, the flabby belly, the fat gene, and like a younger brother of Bellyboy Smith, if you were doing a photo identikit of a county player he would not be far off the final result. He did enough to win a dismal first set. Hard to tell if Razma got better or Ward got worse as Razma then took the next 2 sets, and then Ward winning the fourth to take it to a fifth and final set, which Ward won 3-0 after Razma missed crucial doubles. Uncle Barry is a fuckin genius. What else can you say about a man that sold out the arena for that session, whilst the sporting world still were discussing the Fallon result. Last up was Bunting and Justicia, and thought this would the best standard of the day by far....well it was the best, but hardly anything special either and I have to admit the first set was a great standard with Jose winning it with a ton average, Bunting had a 103 average in the set. After being 2-0 down in the third set Bunting came up with a 124 checkout to save the set and went on to win the set and lead 2-1 in sets as the standard dropped with each set. Jose won the fourth set 3-1 to send it to a deciding set. Bunting missed a match dart at 2-0 up in the final set, but Jose dragged it back to 2-2 in the final set and held throw to lead 3-2 in the tie breaker. The drama continued with Jose waiting on tops for the match as Bunting took out a huge 84 with the bull to make it 3 legs a piece and then at 5-4 in legs to bunting, and looking like a last leg decider, Bunting broke the throw for the match. Decent end to an otherwise dull session.
The evening session started with more Fallon hype and that fucking asshole Mardle was asked how do you think Ted felt, and Mardle again made no mention to the disgraceful way the crowd acted. It was like it never happened. As I said earlier, had that been a women, a black player, etc being booed like that the PC brigade would be out in force attacking the PDC and their failure to control the crowd, the lack of ref interference, but hey, its only a white male, so fuck him, it dont matter. To show how ridiculous it got, the mentally stunted Rod Studd said she should be in the Premier League after that win with a 90 average....this is the levels of stupidity things had reached. To put things in prospective last month Chris Mason was bitching how Price getting booed was wrong and action needed taken, but where is his bitching now after Evetts,Richardson and Young were all booed non stop and treated like shit ? The double standards is being brushed under the carpet.
The sessions first match saw Nico Kurz throwing some solid stuff to take the first set 3-0, Wilson has his chances and played well outside a couple of bounce outs and missing double 19 for a 158 checkout. The second set followed a similar pattern with Soggy Biscuit all over the place, and Kurz fully deserved his lead. Kurz in the first leg of the third set misses double 12 for the 9 darter and looked like this was gonna be over in rapid time, so was glad Wilson won the next 3 legs to win the set. Sky in another case of being totally disrespectful ignorant pigs, spent more time yapping to some fat bearded prick on comms about golf and other nonsense and showed fuckall respect to the players. ITV, BBC etc would never and have never been this biased towards players in the PDC.
In the 4th set Wilson missed darts in the first 2 legs to get back in the game and paid the ultimate price as Kurz broke him again and wrapped up the match. It was nothing spectacular but a decent watch. The next game was the nearest thing you would get to a certainty, they was no way on Earth that the useless Portelo would win this, and even predicted Potelo would be shit on a forum prior to the match, the first set by portelo was utter dog shit, the type of rubbish that reminded me of the bdo jobbers stinking out the gaff in the Grand Slam of Darts. Portela added almost 20 points to his average for the second set and still lost the set. I saw bdo mushrooms quick to point out how Portelo and his almost 91 average was shit,in an unsubtle way of trying to have a dig at the PDC and all the media attention it was getting, oddly Sherrock who had a similar average was not shit. But hey, why let things like facts get in the way of all the hype.
I totally expected Clemens to beat Benito in the next game, and it started well until the 5th leg of the first set, where multiple missed darts by both saw Benito take the first set with a 79 average. In a way a good thing Benito won, as I felt it was only a matter of time before Clemens won the game as Benito has had a brutally shocking year, and of course I was wrong as Benito ended up taking the third set, after Clemens went to shit. It started to look like the game I thought would be a quick 3-0 would end up being a 5 set game. Clemens then found his A-game in the 4th set and was averaging 120 plus for the majority of the set. The fifth set saw Benito come from 2-0 down and see Clemens miss 3 match darts, to lelvel it to send it to a final leg decider where Clemens missed a 4th match dart, before Benito getting an unexpected win after taking out 69 for the game. What looked like on paper an easy win for Clemens turned out to be a great watch in the end. After the game we got an advert with the "top players" cavorting around and the funniest part was that fat lump Michael Smith going to grab the Sid Waddell trophy saying this is the thing he wants.....this days after the fat mess was sent packing.
Last up was Edhouse against Wade. I said on a forum if Wade showed up with his usual bad attitude, I hoped he would get beaten. I did not know what was more vile looking, Ritchie's shirt or Wade's shoes. Wades attitude looked good and took the first set in a 5th leg decider. In the second set when setting up finishes Wade left 166, next leg leaves 166 and the 3rd leg leaves 162 but still wins the set 3-1, to lead 2-0 in sets, and started to look like it was game over. To be fair Edhouse played well and was punished for every mistake. Third set, time for Wade to go to sleep, as comms were saying there are surprised wade is not better in set play.....despite wade winning TWO World grand Prix in a set format and reaching the semi final of the Worlds 3 times.....morons. If Wade was going to sleep then Edhouse was in a coma as Wade took advantage of more missed doubles to break back and win the match 3-0. Edhouse started great but faded, but was still respectful. enough.
Thursday : This was a session that had Pipe, Richardson and Joyce, an afternoon for masochists. The Pipe match was the first match of the comp I did not watch and instead tuned in when I thought it would be over, but it was 2-2 in sets, and the last set still bored me senseless. The next match was Dekker against Ryan joyce and it was turgid shit and that first set was abysmal stuff, and when Dekker went 2 sets up I was hoping he would just finish it off quick and put us out of our misery, but no, this was going the full five sets, which it did all the way to a last leg decider. That last leg had both players miss darts for the match, but it was shit, and then we had droopy Richardson against John Henderson. I looked at both players on the oche and thought about the mentally retarded cunts in darts who think darts is a sport. After the previous 2 abysmal games this surely had to be a better standard. First leg started with both players hitting a 180, the optimist in me was hopeful and it was a great first set by Hendo as he won the set with a ton plus average and hitting 3 maximums along the way. After that Richardson went to shit and this was over in quick time, which no doubt suited Sky who still had another game to go after the 2 long drawn out 5 setters earlier on. A Justin Pipe 5 set match will fuck with any schedule. Last up was Kyle Anderson versus Steve Beaten in a standard generic journeyman second round match. Beaton won the first set with ease, and despite hitting a 170 checkout in the second set, the third in the competition so far Kyle leveled the match in sets, but Beaton was too strong and ran out the match 3-1 with Kyle missing multiple chances to make a game of it..
The session ended with news that Fallon Sherrock got an invite to the World Series event in New York. Had Ted Evetts won would he have got an invite to the World Series in this day of equality between the sexes ? Would he fuck ! They are taking the piss now, just because Fallon won a single game with a 91 average. I know some people reading this are thick as pig shit and will be stupid enough to think I am mocking Fallon, but my problem is not with her, but the pc bollix where its being done for no other reason other than publicity reasons. The PDC did well in milking the publicity in this competition, but they are going too far and already you only have to look at social media and forums to see the general consensus is people are getting sick of this pc shit already. As for this notion that Fallon was in the World Championships "on merit" is another crock of shit. Fallon qualified via an all women qualifier, where some woman had to qualify. Had she qualified in the same qualifiers as the men, then yes she would be there on merit, and if darts is a code for ALL where men and women are all equal, then why do the women have their own qualifiers ? The women that qualified for Ally Pally were there because of the sex they were born, not out of merit. You cannot claim darts is equal and have separate qualifiers for different sexes, and no amount of bullshit, hype, and spin being forced down our throat will alter that fact, and people already see through it. Another thing which seems to have gone unmentioned in all this Fallon Sherrock hype is people assume the big deal is because a woman beat a man, and that is only part of the story, because what people are forgetting to factor in is WHERE it happened. Ask yourselves this, had Fallon beat some bdo male jobber at the Indigo would it have got the same publicity ? Of course not, because no one gives a flying fuck about the BDO, not even the so called bdo fans, they do however care about the PDC World championships at the Palace. Secondly, it also made news because she was the first woman to win, had Suzuki won her match before Sherrock I suspect Suzuki would have got all this hype instead and she would be the one getting the invite in New York. Lets face it the PDC could hype her even better with the Japanese community there. Or ask yourselves this, what if it was Anca Ziljstra that qualified via the munters qualifier and she was the first woman to beat a man at Ally Pally, do you think all the TV companies and media outlets would be as quick to interview her, would Uncle Barry got as much publicity ? Would she even end up on a poster ? Is the answer Yes because we are all equal ? or does it depend what woman wins ?
The evening session on the Thursday started with Devon Peterson back on comms...why ? He is brutal on comms and only there because he is black and ticks the correct PC boxes. Remember this is the guy who once claimed himself he is good at the job and even said Sherrock could win the comp....fucking hell.
First up was Dobey against Muelenkamp and Dobey did not score well in the first set against Muelenkamp but finished brilliantly and took the first set. The second set saw Dobey continue his lethal 2 dart combination finishing and took the second set as well. Credit to Muelenkamp, he came out well for the third set and took the set with good darts and we had a game on again. Dobey's finishing started to go to shit and Muelenkamp took advantage and leveled the match at 2-2 in sets. Final set was a great watch as Ron missed 2 match darts to win the set 3-1, before Dobey took it to a tie breaker,and then broke and held to win a great game with his 5th match dart. Near the end with Ron trying to level the game the crowd was acting up and you could see Dobey trying to quieten the crowd, fair play to him, since the refs dont seem to be bothered about the booing. Muelankamp was the fourth left hander to exit the comp.
Second match was Marc Almond against Nicky Butt with Callum Spaz taking the first set on throw, which included a 160 checkout.The second also saw each leg go with throw and the game level at one set each. Third set followed suit with yet again every leg going on throw, 15 and counting. The first break of throw came in the 17th leg for Noppert, in a set he was throwing first, and held throw with his 7th set dart to level the match in sets. Noppert broke in the first leg of the deciding set, his 4th leg on the trot, and it started to look like game over but Rydz, broke back, and in a game where there was so few breaks early, Noppert made it 3 breaks in a row to go within a leg of victory with a 110 checkout. Noppert then started with a maximum on throw in the leg he needed for the win and saw it out. Another decent watch and the session was making up for the brutal afternoon session we were subjected to.
Third up was a man who won the same amount of majors in darts as Ronnie Baxter, Terry Jenkins, Chris Mason, Ian White and Wayne Mardle up against a speed jobber with as many infliction's, illnesses and spinal problems as Mervyn King. Professor Chisnall took the first set as Vinnie missed 6 match darts and fell apart and lost the second set as well. After all the hype for this game it was a boring match. Chizzy went to sleep and chucked utter shit in the third set and allowed Vinnie to take the set, and in to the fourth we went and chizzy wins the set 3-1 and wins the match, which never lived up to the hype. The "Incoherent Interview Trilogy" was complete when Chizzy joined Barney and Fallon Sherrock's dad in the 3 worst post match interviews of the week.
Last up for the night was the King of Lilliput against Willie O'Connor who talks a great game, now was his time to back it up against a player no one expected to see lose. It did not look good early with Willy averaging 76 and 2 legs down, but came back and should have won the first set. Willy took the second set with some great darts and even took advantage of Price erratic scoring to go 2 sets up, and in the fourth looked like a huge upset was on the cards before Price made it 2-2 sets all, but the talking point will be at 2 legs each in the final set with Willy needing 4 as he approached the board went for double 1 with the 3 darts and that mistake cost him the leg and Price held throw next leg for the win. In a normal week that could have won him knob of the week but luckily for him he had far bigger morons in front of him in the queue. I saw people calling Willy a choker, but that was not choking , it was stupidity and cost him huge as he had Price on the rocks. It will probably take a while for Willy to get over that, and a shame as he played great. Devon Peterson's commentary was atrocious as always. When Willy had 88 in one leg and Price was back at almost 300, Devon said "surely Willy has 6 darts here"...no shit Einstein, but he will be kept to tick some pc correctness boxes and to appease the pc brigade, why let something like the fact he is utter shit get in the way.
Friday : Up first was Darren Webster against Yamada, and was a ok match for a 3-0 formality, Webster played well and fully deserved the win, but will need to improve next game. After that we had the guy who has had every illness bar dutch elms disease and ovarian cancer against the lanky cork lad Teehan. King won the first 2 sets and looked all over but credit to Teehan who took advantage of sloppy darts to take the next 2 sets, and had chances in the final set and even took it to a tie breaker but the grimacing king saw it out. Amazing how King 's pain always flares up when under pressure or losing, but when he is winning he is fit as a fiddle, some coincidences. Teehan got some praise and we were told he is a decent prospect, but they say that about every kid, and personally I think Keane Barry is the biggest Irish prospect and along with O Connor looks like the top 2 Irish players, as Lennon has gone to utter shit this year. Third game up was Dekker and Clayton, and by fuck is Dekker utter shit, his game against Joyce was woeful and his performance here was just as bad, thankfully the coal scavenger clayton finished it off in quick time.
Last up was Rapid Ricky against Mark McGeeney and was hoping for a McGeeney win as he comes across as a decent lad, pissed of the mushrooms with his honest comments about the BDO and the PDC. Ricky took the first set with ease as McGeeney played utter shit and he was no better and possibly even worse in the second set, and was quickly 2-0 down without even winning a leg. The poor session was gonna finish early at this rate unless McGeeney got his arse in gear.At 2-0 sets down and 2 legs down McGeeney won his first leg of the match with his 13th attempt at a double, remember this is the former bdo #1. McGeeney then won another leg to break and was then throwing for the set despite his abysmal performance and held throw to take the set and we had game on again. I am sure Sky were happy as the session looked like it was gonna be done and dusted by 4 o clock. The fourth set kicked off with McGeeney reverting back to shit as Ricky won the next 3 legs and won the match with a magnificent 170 checkout. Ricky played well, but McGeeney was shocking and was expecting more of him, but only showed how the former Lakeshite winners, and former BDO #1s are all over rated. Look at Kist and Mark Webster who could not qualify, and the likes of Dekker and McGeeney. MVG will make shit of Evans in the next round. First match up on the Friday evening session was Aspinall against Danny Baggish and thought this would be a rapid quick 3-0 win, so was surprised when the yank took the first set after Aspinall missed 8 darts at a double. Aspinall got his act together in the second set and won it with ease.He then started his posturing and chav antics which are possibly some of the reasons why i dont like him, he just comes across as a chav cunt even if he is a good player. The third set really picked up and credit to Baggish as he started to play great darts and was throwing for a 2-1 lead in sets, but failed to hold throw and Aspinall led 2-1 in sets, there was no coming back from that, and game over quick after. It was better for the comp that Aspinall as over the longer format you want the better players.
Second up was Joe Cullen against Nico Kurz. Cullen started shit and was 2-0 legs down playing shit, then woke up and won the next 3 legs to take the set. Joe kept up the scoring and won the first 2 legs of the second set, and Kurz did what Cullen did in the first set and came from 2-0 down to win 3 legs and the set. Tasty game too. Kurz took the third set and the blond blue eyed hun looked totally at ease, if Baldur von Schirach was alive he would be wanking himself blind at this performance as Kurz sent Cullen packing 3-1. Maybe Joe thought he had this in the bag before hand and was thinking of what he could spent his winnings on, as looking at the chrome dome of Cullen was wondering if he would spend his winnings on getting a hair transplant like Barney did.
Last week I mentioned how "expert" Chris Mason said Cullen was in contention for a Premier League spot, let that sink in. Cullen's World championship record is abysmal. The Fallon bullshit showed no signs of abating as there were even asking players in interviews prior to their match about Sherrock. As for this shit Max Hopp is the best German, I think Clemens is better, and Kurz might even prove to be better yet. Was not expecting Benito to improve on his last performance but was hopeful of a good game and that hope seemed short lived as the first set was horrendous stuff. Benito won the second set with his 81 average, and was dour shite. Third set went 5 legs with Max Jobb taking it. I was watching shit darts from Hopp as the comms were hyping the over rated cunt to the moon.When Max Jobb won the last set 3-0 all I could think was "thank fuck for that" with Hopp and his average in the 80s.
Last up was the potbellied 50 year old dressed like an Elf against the Filipino Noel Malicdem, and expected Krusty to win this with ease.After the ridiculous looking wannabe scotsman won the first set 3-0, it looked this gonna be a whitewash, but Malicdem played some decent stuff to take the second set with a 68 checkout of treble 5, treble 13, double 7.Malicdem missed multiple darts at double 8 in two legs and that looked like it but came back and won the set, and made it 2-2 in sets and in to the decider we went. When Malicdem broke Krusty in the first leg, the huge upset looked a possibility, and when Malicdem held throw, his fifth leg on the trot, he was 2-0 up in the last set....the huge upset was certainly on. Malicdem then had 136 to win the match and scored 40, then came back and scored 30, and even came back for 66 and still did not get a shot at a double...looked like he completely fucked it, with possibly the worst ever choke at Ally Pally but he still had the throw to seal it and missed the bull for the match with Krusty back on 140 and the dressed up mutant took out the 140 and the upset that should have happened looked gone...sickening. They held throw and reached 4-4 in legs, Malicdem missed double 13 for a 146 and a break, and got another chance and wired all 3 darts at the double 13....how many chances did this cunt need ? Krusty held and at 5-4 Malicdem had to hold for the bull off in the last leg decider, and took out 64 to send it in to the final leg. Krusty won the bull and that was it as the klown cunt started with a maximum , and gone was any hope of the upset,and those 9 darts at 136 and not getting a shot at a double was the choke of the tournament.
In a week where we saw Rob Dross, Ian Shite, Bellyboy Smith, Barney, and Joe Cullen exiting, we should have had the welsh dwarf Vermin and the retarded looking clown join them, jammy bastards.

We have Mardle who won nothing giving advice on how to win trophies, what does he know about winning majors ? What does Turner know about professional darts ? What did Peterson do to warrant a job on comms ? People can spin it all they want , but you only have to look at social media and even non dart forums to see the criticism Mardle , Peterson etc are getting, and for all the good publicity Sky and the PDC generated from the Fallon headlines, it also meant more people saw the disgraceful crowds, lazy refs, and biased commentary, during the Yong Barney game, the Richardson Suzuki game and the Ted Evetts Fallon Sherrock game, as that did not go unnoticed. The first week of this comp has been brilliant as expected, with shocks, classic games, big names going out, with moments of madness, brilliance and utter stupidity, Part and Webster on comms have been great, and Harrington just passable, but the rest of the comms, and favoritism has been a black spot on this comp. Saw this post on a forum and made me laugh....

While Fallon sherrock was appearing on multiple channels after her win, Bo Selecta tried get in on the act and of course rather than mention Fallon she made it all about herself when she appearred on Channel 4. She told us how she beat men years ago, and they called her the 2019 Acropolis Champion. When bo Selecta is winning a comp you have to go some to only imagine what sort of players she must have beat. I am convinced this was a wind up in interviewing her, it had to be a piss take and she was too fucking dense to realize it.
Corey Cadby who weeks ago tore strips of his manager on social media, and accused him of gambling away other peoples money, accused him of drug dealing and money laundering is still with his manager and all are friends again. The PDC has been so popular that even the non darts forums I post on have had their busiest threads for darts ever, and on every forum, darts and non darts, the majority of people despised Mardle , as well as Peterson, those 2 were the clear standouts . On the topic of forums, the new forum I advertised on here only weeks back was the busiest darts forum on the net, no other darts forum came close for the number of posts it had for its Ally Pally thread.
And lastly one member on a quieter darts forum has complained about me numerous times for not mentioning Liverpool FC on my blog....why he thinks I should mention football on a darts blog is beyond me, but since it is Christmas week and I am feeling generous I will do the cabbage cunt a favor and mention them. ...Share price in candles and wreaths went thorugh the roof on Miseryside this week after Aston Villa pumped the red scouse candle lighting murdering scum 5-0 in the League Cup. A wonderful result.
