Many have used his incident with Dean Winstanley where he was  awarded a leg where the double was clearly not in as yet another excuse to berate him even further. I have read those who claimed he cheated and should be banned, to those who have defended him.

It was Russ Bray who called the dart in, the crux of the issue is whether Taylor knew it not , especially when he went to retrieve his darts.There is no way of ever proving if he knew for certain and this is why nothing can be done in regards of him being accountable in certain aspects.

Yes there are many people who dont check their darts when taking them out of the board, especially when game shot has been called and my own personal opinion is Taylor might genuinely have believe Russ but knew as he got to the board it was outside.

At that point he should have corrected the error.

Did he spot it ? As I said no way of proving it, but I find it hard to believe he didn't.

If he did and said nothing then he is even lower than I thought possible,A sneaky devious underhanded cheating cunt , who through technicalities, protection, favoritism etc has got away with it and gets the usual protection as always.

Even after the game he still could have redeemed the situation by announcing he would donate his money to charity, he could well afford it, and it might have helped things, but in Taylor fashion, a pathetic apology, nothing sincere, but a bland predictable reply as if his comments are enough to settle everything..

On the upside, I am a little glad, the Taylor haters on certain forums who spend their lives repeating over and over ,day after day, week after week, year in year out the conviction of  Taylor have some new material to keep them moaning for a bit longer, those sort of bitter forum maggots that makes the Taylor victories not so bad knowing how some will blow a gasket when he wins.
