How long can a player go being one of the best scorers in the game and be the absolute worst finisher at the same time.
I am or was a huge Ando fan but there comes a point where watching him becomes more annoying than entertaining. I so wanted him to beat Lewis in the world final but when he lost felt that was the point in his career where everything hinged.Had he won the title he might have kicked on and when he lost felt he would never win a World title and still believe that. Yes he has won the PL, IDL & the WDT but should have won more and I think he will join Baxter, Evans , Gregory etc as one of the true greats never to land the big one.
As for this weeks Knob award, only Ando could miss 8 doubles to win a leg, and go 12 darts before landing one, and still lead the match 5-4 and yet again miss darts to win his sixth leg and earn a badly needed draw and lose not only that leg but the following 3.
I am glad he is going out, a knob that has only himself to blame and if honest I am fed up hoping he wins, gets to a point where I think fuck it, glad he is gone
