DAY 1
Justin Pipe heard a camera was seen in the venue and promptly got beaten by Andy Jenkins, Colin Lloyd who has more acne than a scouser on disco biscuits, finished telling the dutch he used to be a former world #1 and then got beaten as usual. Mark Webster was woeful in his 6-0 hammering where he averaged 75 once again proving being a lakeshite champion means fuckall in the PDC.He should take his place alongside, Fordham, Wallace, and all the other post split lakeshite champions who wont win fuckall in the pdc
There were a few shocks such as the heavy defeat of chizzy by Vos, and the emergence of this german kid Max Hopp who beat Terry Jenkins.
Good to see some of the old guard finding some form recently like Wayne Jones, Colin Osborne, but sadly Dennis Priestley and John Part have seen better days. Was wishing for a Dean Winstanley win as well as victories for Peter Wright & Mark Hylton but it was not to be.
DAY 2
Fine win for Mark Walsh over Brendan Dolan early in the day to keep his good form going,
Great results for Andy Jenkins & Jamie Caven during the day as well, worth keeping "an eye" on their games.Also happy to see Wayne Jones keep his form going , joining Simon Whitlock and Andy Hamilton in the next round.Ian White continued his impressive run of late with a fine victory over Mervyn King.and is gonna be a player all the seeds will want to avoid early on in the WC's.
The evening session threw up some upsets also, with Max Hopp beating Steve Beaton,Steve Brown putting Wes Newton out, and Johnny Haines sending Headshaker out, although if honest I am not that surprised, Barney has been shit for a long long time.Taylors victory over Co Stompe meant no dutch player made the next round, as Vincent the speed jobber went out Aaron monk, and MVG has only himself to blame for losing to that prick Nicholson, MVG wasted a heap of chances on the doubles, even busting 80 at one stage.
The upshot of this event is that if the German younster Max Hopp beats Paul nicholson he will qualify for the World championships.This seems to have pissed off a few including the useless jobber Steve Maish who moaned it was unfair someone who only plays in one event should have the chance to get to the worlds.

The last 16 stage was a rather uneventful stage, mainly due to the dour line up.The absence of the likes of Wade, Lewis and Anderson did not help this either, Taylor and Nicholson unsurprisingly saw off Smith & Max Hopp, Whitlock put in a solid performace in his victory over the in form Ian White.
Was happy to see Wayne Jones and Mark Walsh also reach the quarters, but Osborne who has found form since the GrandPrix did not have enough to beat the Grinch with his gammy mouth.Haines continued his good run with a victory over caven , and the dull as fuck chest beating and grunting hamilton was sent packing, shame it was the chavvy aaron monk that had to do it though.
The quarter finals kicked off with a shock result in which Wayne Jones who has been in good form knocked out Phil Taylor 6-5 with an average of 101.49. That game with a high standard was followed by utter shit, the chavvy Aaron Monk was fucking useless, he averaged a pathetic 69. in his 6-1 defeat to the long string of piss that thinks he is an Australian who was not much better with his average of 83. This is the same useless cunt who people were claiming should be in the Premier League. Whitlock proved too much for Haines and Stroke Face bear Mark Walsh 6-2.
Nicholson beats Jones 6-3 in the first semi final, typical the player who beats Taylor goes out next round.On the plus side a good weekend for Jones and delighted to see him back on form.
Whitlock powers in to final with a solid win over Stroke face, setting up a final of a real australian against a wannabe australian.
